Pro: I found it user friendly & versatile in movement. Also below the dash for legal reasons in some states is very helpful to avoid being ticketed. Usually stays put (unless theres condensation from a/c in the summer). A/C does help phone stay cool (especially preferred while charging). Versatile in movement or placement. Overall preferred sleek style.

So I had the steelie before on the case of my old iphone it worked great which I why Im giving it two starts, but...... when I bought the new XR, I ordered this, just the magnetic phone socket since I have the ball already mounted in my vehicle. Well, the case I have has a big hole in it where the apple logo is on back, so thats where I mounted it. I did the prep correctly and let it dry for about 24 hrs. Got in my car, put the phone on the steelie ball, which then promptly fell to the ground. The magnet came right off. Well, now the sticky is ruined. Had to clean off the magnet with goo be gone, tried some 3M tape, it wont stick to iphone either. Not sure what the heck the new iphone is made of, but its like teflon and nothing will stick to it. While some blame might be with the new iphone, this product is worthless for iphones unless you plan on sticking it to your case. Unfortunately, my sticky tape was ruined by trying the phone, so now Im trying 3M tape, but its not working. This manufacturer needs to either be up front with the product not working on new iphones or develop a new sticky tape.

Not powerful enough. It keeps sliding down. Maybe if they made a bigger more powerful one it would be worth it but this one certainly is not.

Works just as it says. Just be sur you actually test the spot you want to place it with the device attached before you stick it down

It really does work well, much better than I could’ve hoped. No complaints
