> 24 hourThe best fans on the market. If you are looking for a silent fan that will last for years this is it.

> 24 hourVery quiet, undervolts phenomenally well, great performance (airflow and static pressure), probably the best computer fan bearing in existence.

> 24 hourIf you keep these below 1600 rpm they are nice and quiet. At max output they do drone a bit and sound like an oscillating fan. Other than that they are not cheap. Are there fans out there that do the same thing as these for cheaper? Yes. Do those fans have a 100000 hour lifespan rating on the bearings? Doubtful.

> 24 hourIm using these to cool a EK-420CE rad. At 200rpms theyre whisper quiet, and at full 2000rpms theyre loud, but thats expected at full tilt. Still quieter than anything Ive ran at 2K rpms. I did have 1 fan die on the 1st day of use, so I guess well see how Noctuas customer service department works? I have Noctuas in other builds and Ive never had issues but these things happen I guess. Well in any case, being down a fan these still cool off my system. Its cooling a 9900k @5.2Ghz, and Im seeing temps around 85c.

> 24 hourI kinda struggled in deciding whether to go 2000 or 3000, as there is a mixed review of how much the min rpm of the 3000 could do. I hope my review can help someone out there facing the same decision as me and make a wiser choice. So, I ended up with 2 * A14 2000 and 1 * F12 3000, I connected the 2 * A14 to my corsair H115i and they were quieter than the stock fans at low speed, but at high(1600) to full speed(1700-1900), there is a humming noise (not a consistent kinda noise tat the stock fan produce at high speed) it is indeed lower in dB (note that stock fan max at 2400), but the frequency produced is more irritating than stock fans noise to be really honest, this caused some disappointment for first time experience with Noctua, especially after all the hype I heard about them. Now, the F12 3000s, the stated min rpm is 750+/-20%, but using Asus M8HA MB, Fan Expert 3, after auto calibration, its minimum rpm is 1380. Nothing lower than that can keep the fan ON. Currently do not have another pwm controller on hand to test out if the min rpm of 750 could be achieved, but 1380 a little on the noisy side during idle. So people, get what you need, dont follow my footsteps thinking I could pwm the fans and throttle to any values I prefer between 750 - 3000.
