i like a lot of people have always used whatever cheapy fans ive had lying around for years in my builds. well i have a plex server that i had stuck some cheep 60mm fans into to keep the hard drives cool. they screamed. i finally decided i should try these since they have a good reputation. let me spell out how good these are.

Swapped out the fan in an Amcrest NVR for this one and it makes such a difference, even without reducing the fan speed with the low noise adapters included with the kit. The original fan was louder than my PC fan at full blast (which is fairly loud as well) and with the Noctua fan, the NVR is now quieter than my cable STB.

Im happy with this fan. Im really not surprised about its quality. Its Noctua. Every fan I have by them has been good.

Ah, the almost impossible task of finding a liveable 60mm fan. Some are server grade and sound like it, while others like this one provide a good compromise between heat dissipation and db levels.

Really nice! Replaced fans in Corsair RAM coolers. More air, and no noise!!! They are expensive, but when computer is turned on and fans run up, I dont hear these.

Wired into push on button in fridge so when door is opened it shuts off. That way your not blowing your cold air out while looking for your item. That is wired to a rocker switch on outside to shut off when camper not in use. Fan works great and moves plenty of air in 5 cu ft fridge. Installed on the colder side of the fins. Believe it’s cute the pre cool time in half.

Bought this to replace a fan in my car battery charger. Had to mod the cable on the fan and the housing on the charger but this thing is whisper quiet! Very nice!

80% of the CFM air of the original fan in my Meanwell SE-600 power supply, but rather than sounding like a jet engine, it now sounds like a breeze. The original fan was 44db, this is around 23db but once the enclosure is closed, you have to get within 3 inches to hear it at all.

I have run Noctua fans for over a decade in countless computers I have fix and built. However, this is the first time I have used them in an automotive application. Im using these in a custom enclosure to cool my communication equipment. They are controlled by relay when the equipment turns on. I will try to remember to update this review in the future. Im curious to see how they will do in the summer heat inside a vehicle.

Ultra quiet when used with the supplied ultra quiet resistance cable. It also slows fan down but not excessively. I used two of these in a push-pull configuration in a fan-noisy oscilloscope and it cut the fan noise down to the point I cant hear it over the computer fans anymore.
