I purchased the NF-S12A PWM Chromax to replace two stock case fans set as exhaust. I didnt even think the stock fans were particularly loud but I was stunned at how dead silent the Noctua fans were in comparison. My second thought was that maybe they were spinning too slow and not performing well as a trade off, but upon checking temps under load my GPU was 12 degrees cooler than with the previous fans. I am very impressed.

These fans move a lot of air and are super quiet. I have them running at 800rpm at idle and I can not hear them at all. At full ramp I hear the graphic card fans over anything else.

Excellent Noctua 120mm fan in a nice black color with colorful corner pieces. There are only 4 of each color, but it usually isnt an issue for me. Great fan, similar to the old color version that so many people dont like but the fans work great; are quiet, and effective.

If you’re here then you’ve likely heard of Noctua’s legendary engineering reputation. This fan is incredibly silent. Like— quieter than a bunny hopping around in a plush meadow. I would highly recommend this for use as a primary (low impedance) exhaust fan, seeing as how the exhaust fan is usually the greatest source of noise on a pc besides a GPU and potentially the front intake (if your PC is working really hard).

The Noctua fans are poorer quality. It makes a weird noise due to a faulty component. Fans ended up failing in less than a month. Very disappointed with the companys products. I also got a cpu cooler from a retail store and it runs really hot. I think the newer stuff is poorer quality either due to cutting costs or changes in designs. Recommend trying other brands first. The Noctua name is carrying the product. Thats all.

This fan is awesome. Moves the same amount of air as the stock Phanteks 120mm case fans from the P400 at a fraction of the noise level. At full speed they’re extremely quiet. Definitely will be picking up some more of these.

They are dead quiet, much higher build quality than the case fans that came with my case, and thermals stay chilly, though I dont overclock or push my system to hard.

For this price youd think the cable would be a normal length for routing. Its like 5 inches so I had to run it directly from the case to the motherboard and not route it. The cable is detachable so in theory you could replace it / make your own but you shouldnt have to.
