Noctua NF-S12A PWM chromax.Black.swap, Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin (120mm, Black)

I bought these fans to replace 4 year old case fans, one of which had a failed bearing. They were very easy to install and they have been whisper quiet since installation. They seem to move good air and my system is staying cool. What else could I ask for?

This was used to replace an original case fan that came with the case, Silverstone, which was already pretty silent but I thought Noctua would be even better... unfortunately this is not the outcome. It is noticeably louder in the room which is also a bedroom so it is adding noise that wasnt a problem before. Not sure yet if I will go back to the old fan or not but I did buy a second case fan from Noctua that I may end up cancelling as a result of this experience.

I already purchased 2 of these fans for the intake of my NZXT s340 elite case. When I was satisfied with them I thought why shouldnt I replace my exhaust stock fans. And I didnt regret. This product is all about quality. If only they would provide enough rubber antivibratin pads of all colors it would be great.

If you want a quiet PC fan, this is it. You get what you pay for with Noctua fan. I have eight of these inside my case, and you cant hear them at all normally.

Bought this to replace the loud fan that came installed in my PC. Turned it on and opened up a few apps and sure enough, jet engine. Literally just as loud as the original fan. Only time it’s ultra quiet as advertised is when the PC is off. Seriously

The Noctua fans are poorer quality. It makes a weird noise due to a faulty component. Fans ended up failing in less than a month. Very disappointed with the companys products. I also got a cpu cooler from a retail store and it runs really hot. I think the newer stuff is poorer quality either due to cutting costs or changes in designs. Recommend trying other brands first. The Noctua name is carrying the product. Thats all.

My first time trying Noctua Fans. I replaced the stock NZXT fans in my H210 case. The difference is phenomenal. I used the low noise adapters from Noctua as well, and these puppies are whisper silent like no other fan Ive ever owned. They feel like they push more air, and the stream feels more even and steady. The fan blades are nearly invisible while running.
