> 3 dayDoes a great job cooling the processor, but is a pain to install and you better have a large case.

> 3 dayI will try to keep it short. I had been on laptops for 6 years because I had a need for portability that outstripped all other concerns. Recently, that requirement ended so I set out to build the best possible PC within reason. AIOs had piqued my curiosity and thought the NZXT Kraken x62 would be the best cooling solution for my 2700x. It was problematic for several reasons the biggest being noise profile. The pump noise was grating to me. Now, the computer had been built so quiet that scratching my arm at full load would overcome the noise from the pump but it was severely irritating, especially if I wasnt gaming and the video card didnt have its fan running. The long and short of it, is short of manual overclocking the 2700x manually to 4.3ghz all core which had a HWinfo reported 230w CPU and SoC draw, the NH-D15 SE-AM4 was capable of running with the x62. With Performance Enhancer Level 2 enabled, I hit the same core clocks as the x62. The only differences are:

> 3 dayThe only problem that I have with this product is that the installation can be a little difficult. Otherwise, it is great and can easily keep my 5950x down to 60C under a 150W load.

> 3 dayI know theres no point to get this since the 2700X comes with its stock cooler but I render a lot of videos and at 1.3V and 4.0GHz, the CPU temp would climb into the 80s Celsius and I didnt like that. With this, it only goes to 65C at the same voltage and clock speed. Wont ever get hotter than this.

> 3 dayIts a beast. Nothing to say that hasnt been said in other reviews. This works at good as my water cooler cooler did and its half as noisy and I dont need to worry about having water leaks. Only thing to watch for is it is HUGE... thats what she said.

10-04-2025Easy to install, and provides amazing temps for an air cooler, on par with AIOs but without the fear of leaking or the pump going bad. Its also dead quiet even when the fans are at max RPM.

> 3 dayThis Notuca beast is one impressive cooler. Yes it big but it does the job. No Issues with RAM slot access on my ASRock Tachi motherboard. Everything from the box packaging to of course the cooler great design of heat pipes and fans is first rate!

Greater than one weekHave two of these sitting on CPU mining rigs, both have Ryzen 5950x’s, both mining on 28 of 32 threads. In ~6 months worth of log files I could not find a single temp check above 66*c, while my rigs are on an open rack with very good airflow, I think it’s safe to say this cooler will more than handle anything that any am4 chip you put beneath it is capable of.

> 3 dayI read the reviews about how big this thing was before I ordered it so I was expecting it to be massive. Nevertheless, it blew me away when I opened the package. Be forewarned though, the heatsink is 165mm tall, so Id make sure that you can clear 170mm from your CPU in the socket to the side of your case.
