Now Foods Almond Oil, 16 Fl Oz (Pack of 2)

I have used this Almond Oil for several years. It works wonders if you have dry skin. After using it it for two weeks I threw out all my other body lotions and I will never go back to using them. I absolutely love this Almond Oil.

Second time buying this oil--and this time, I made sure to order 2 bottles. Great quality oil with a light, yet pleasing scent. I usually infuse herbs into this oil to use as a base for various creams and ointments, but I also use it just as it is for a light skin moisturizer. I mixed half almond oil and half coconut oil (our house is always cold enough that my coconut oil is rock hard!) to make a softer, easier-to-squeeze-out-of-a-bottle eczema cream base for my son. His skin loves it! Will be ordering again when these bottles run out.

MOISTURIZING ASSESSMENT: My new staple! This product will be replacing my go-to, Palmers Cocoa Butter Moisturizing Body Oil With Vitamin-E, and, bumping my back-up, Neutrogena Light Sesame Formula Body Oil off the list. Unlike use of the aforementioned, my skin still feels just as smooth by the end of the day, and after a week of use now, feels more supple and healthy upon waking the next day. (I also need only apply like 1/4 of what I would use of the Palmers/Neutrogena to get said results.) APPLICATION: I love using it in the tub in addition to bath salts/bubble bath. However, for best results, lightly towel pat dry after a shower or a bath, then rub the oil in while pores are still open. If desired, take a quick rinse, or dip back in the tub, to remove excess oil, and wala - you are now a silky smooth goddess! Just be careful not to get this stuff in your hair (I clip mine up before application). ***This stuff also works magic for circumventing razor burn for those of us who have fair/sensitive skin.*** PRODUCT SIZE/DETAILS: I ordered the 48 oz. option, and was pleased to find this was broken down into four 16-oz. bottles. While I dont believe this stuff would have a chance to go rancid at the rate I use it, it is nice to deal with smaller bottles, have one to take on overnights, and - hey - you could always choose to go in on, and split, this order with a friend. SCENT/FRAGRANCE: One final note for those who are curious, or might be led astray by the term sweet in the description: there really is no scent to this product. Youll have to add your own fragrance (if desired) to the bottle, or via another means. (This may actually be a plus for some people who would prefer a fragrance free option.)

While I do use this oil for my skin, I also use it to make a light salad dressing. Nows website states that this is a food grade oil and is edible. I find it quite good where a lighter flavor is desired. I blend it with white wine vinegar, salt, white pepper, a touch of onion powder, sugar to taste, and dill weed. Put it in a leak proof bottle, shake well, and then let it rest for the flavors to infuse. This is a nice change from the Italian dressing that I make with olive oil which is too heavy for some types of salads.

I use this oil all the time for homemade products such as sugar scrubs. Its light and does not leave my skin feeling greasy. I tend to have greasy skin on my face so this works great. It has a nice smell which is not real strong either.

Great stuff but one bottle cap was lose. Lost some oil, packaging was ok.. the oil looked like it was only 1 of the 2 bottles.

This is my second order i like to use it around my nails to smothen the dead skin then aften removing the skin ,, i also mix it with shea butter to make a creamy texture for after bath .. i used it on my body it makes it oily at first but after it dries i see dry batches on my skin

Cap was broken when received and I keep on losing oil from the bottle. I wish I could have returned this product.
