I love the soft skin I get from using almond oil to cleanse my face. I rub it with my clean fingertips for a couple minutes, sometimes let it just sit on my skin for a couple more minutes and massage again or just use a warm damp washcloth to wipe away the grime. It lifts the greasiness of my skin out and cleans my pores and leaves my face soft. I used to use a sensitive skin soap and moisturizer and I had all kinds of ruddiness and dryness. This almond oil is also a good body moisturizer after a shower. It does take a few minutes to absorb though. For me, that is not a problem as I bathe at night but I wouldnt recommend it as a moisturizer if you need to quickly dress and get to work after your shower.

I am so tired of using products that have so many ingredients that I dont know what they are and how they might ultimately negatively affect my body that I thought I would give this a try. After I shower I use this to moisturize. I use it on my face also- I have rosacea- and it helps. It lasts and lasts and saves me money. I am very pleased that I tried this.

I bought this to use as a base oil for Body Butters etc...I ran out of moisturizer and opened one to put on my face alone and I love it! I can not use Coconut oil for some reason and this is not causing bumps or itchy rash! It has no smell that I can tell which I dont mind. I have used this in my lip balms also and it works perfectly. I will buy from here again!

The price was so good for 3 pack. I used it on my skin and hair. The main reason I was use it is to made soap every 3 months. Even the code day pass after one year I still could use it.

Ive purchased this item multiple times. Now Foods almond oil is a good quality carrier oil, which is what I use it for. For me, its an acceptable substitute for jojoba, which has become prohibitive due to the prices. To be brutally honest, Mountain Rose Herbs would be my first choice, but with shipping costs, and because the quality is so similar, I choose the Now brand.

While I do use this oil for my skin, I also use it to make a light salad dressing. Nows website states that this is a food grade oil and is edible. I find it quite good where a lighter flavor is desired. I blend it with white wine vinegar, salt, white pepper, a touch of onion powder, sugar to taste, and dill weed. Put it in a leak proof bottle, shake well, and then let it rest for the flavors to infuse. This is a nice change from the Italian dressing that I make with olive oil which is too heavy for some types of salads.

After finishing a single bottle, I reordered the 2 pack. I am an adult with acne prone skin on chin and cheeks, along with dry patches along laugh lines and eyebrows. I use this oil on my dry spots on my face, and also as an all over body moisturizer. The trick is putting it on as soon as you dry off from a hot shower or bath, that way your body soaks up the oil and it will dry fast and penetrate the skin deeper. Apply it that way, then try applying it when your skin is cold and you will see what I am talking about. Reaping the benefits of this oil, and also shea butter, is all about learning and accepting that it needs to be applied in a more specific way than ordinary store bought lotions. If you apply it any old way then yes your skin will feel greasy due the oil not penetrating your skin as well, so more oil sits on top of the skin instead of moisturizing it. I actually hated using this stuff at first, until through trial and error I learned how my body absorbed it effectively. After awhile, when you go back to using store bought lotions you will notice how they leave a thin plasticy coating that feels kind of like dried hair conditioner on your hands, because guess what... there are types of synthetic chemicals that are basically liquid, elastic forms of stabilizers in these lotions that are like liquid plastic. And you dont want that crap getting absorbed in your body over years and years. From the crap I went through seeing my normal healthy body degenerate over the years to building up such a high intolerance and pain for synthetic ingredients in food like stabilizers and preservatives, I now know that this stuff has the potential to permanently mess up your health. It happens over a long period of time, but it does happen. It is important to not let your body absorb synthetic toxins in store bought moisturizers, use natural ones instead. They actually help heal your skin.
