o.b. Original Non-Applicator Tampons, Ultra Absorbancy, 40 Count (Pack of 1)

OK, what really needs to be said about these that all women dont already know? They are the #1 most absorbent tampon made, bar none. Nothing else even comes close to the level of absorbency, and when you have to get up once or twice a night to change these during the heaviest flow, vs. 3-4 times with others - or when the heaviest flow days require changing these every hour or two, vs. every 45 minute for other brands (or ob smaller tampons) - why would you choose anything else? That whole thing where they had to stop making them due to toxic shock syndrome because they were TOO long lasting and absorbent is B.S. - that was the result of women wearing them for DAYS because of a light flow -- for women who have a heavy flow and need to change THESE after an hour or two when they fill up, there is no toxic shock issue, these are simply THE tampon that is adequate for handling a heavy flow. I would add also, to forestall any commenters who want to tell me about the cup or keeper options - I tried all of those - they overflowed in less time than the ob ultra. There is nothing longer lasting with more capacity than ob ultra.

Idk about this product, all boxes are damaged and it makes me feel that it may be not good to use.

These were my go-to tampons for many years. Other brands just dont compare for leak protection, as long as you flange the end as directed. It is also a good segue to get you accustomed to putting your hands up there on the regular while you have a period, if you wish to transition to a menstrual cup. I did so recently and wished Id done so a very long time ago. Way better for the environment and the wallet, and less risk of TSS

These are my favorite tampons. I can never find them in store so I’ve had to resort to ordering them on Amazon. Kinda expensive but worth it.

The joy of anonymity means being blunt... Second, if you are old enough to have a period, you are old enough to talk about your period. I have a copper IUD and that means epic heavy periods. The OB Ultra are the only tampons that dont require me double bagging with a pad. The local drug store does not carry these so, thank you to Amazon! The only other period product I use besides my menstrual cup.

I have been using these for years! I dont know about you but I find applicators painful and uncomfortable. These too a minute to get used to putting them in and finding that just right angle. I use my middle finger to push it in. These are comfortable and if you get the right flow tampon they dont leak. I honestly didnt get these to be environmentally friendly I got them because I hated other tampon applicators. So if your like me...give them a try.

Love these. Discreet, not a lot of access garbage to dispose of. Always been neverous about trying these because I was so used to applicators and worried about my hands getting dirty. But it’s super easy and no mess.

Barring a dire emergency, I will never use any other tampon. Ever. I will go out of my way to get my OBs...if they are out of stock, I will shop until I find somewhere they have them, rather than make do with another brand. You know what makes these little guys so superior? The expand width ways...like youd expect a tampon to do. Like a cork in a bottle. I havent come across a single other brand that does that....they all seem to expand vertically, which serves no purpose other than to ruin your knickers and fall out when you sneeze. Some people are intimidated about the whole no applicator situation....dont be. Youll manage just fine. The great things about no applicators: They are tiny...put one in your pocket, hide it in your hand, have room for other crap in your purse when you have your period. Eliminate the stress when youre at someone elses house, debating whether you should put the applicator in the loo and pray that it flushes down, or having to wrap it up in loo paper and shove it to the bottom of the trash can to hide it Feel slightly smug about the fact that you are doing a little kindness for the environment...its APPALLING to me that they started making applicators out of plastic...totally unnecessary, and responsible for large quantity of landfill that will never ever break down, I would think. I honestly dont understand why anyone uses anything other than OB.

This is the only tampon I have found that protects me on my heavy days.
