Ive been using a free addition of Open Office 3.1 for years without problems. IMO Open Office is easy to use and full featured, comparable to its competitors. I use the draw, write and presentation applications. If you have a problem or issue, theres plenty help and online assistance. I didnt mind paying for the current version because Ive used previous versions of Open Office for years without cost. I do appreciate the free clip art and additional fonts. Open Office is inexpensive and performs well, comparable to other software applications. Dont be fooled because of the nominal cost. My computers utilize Windows 8 and 10. Open Office is compatible with Microsoft software.

I like this word program much better than Microsoft Word. Its easy to use, and I feel what I do on it is quality work.

I didnt need this but I like having the options and suggestions to improve my format for simple documents and even letters. Easy to use once installed I noticed right away it helped me use better phrasing while I composed an email. I may start that memoir Ive been meaning to write (wink!)

You really cant loose from buying this replacement for Microsoft office. Its affordable and easy to install. So sorry I didnt see this earlier.

I mostly use it as a word processor . I have not dug into using the other features on this disk. I would recommend it to someone that wants to just have these programs much cheaper than what windows ten tries to get you to purchase.

If you need an inexpensive word processor to right letters its great. You cant open word documents in it. So if you need to read, modify or correct word documents open office is not for you.

Installation not for the faint-hearted novice, but with patience it was installed on my HP Pavilion desk top yesterday. First impression very positive. Program reads files previously written on WORD and EXCEL and facilitates updating, renaming, and saving them for future use.

Been using this program for well over 10 years, my computer died and had to buy a new program to install on new computer. EASY to install. For simple spreadsheets.

I really love this software package! It is really user friendly, and really works well with my MS Office 2010. The pricing was totally unbelievable, compared to the MS Suite. The similarities are almost exact. i utilize excel & word all day long in my career and Open Office 4 was the answer. Also this product has 20,000 cliparts and 1,000 fonts. It is indeed compatible with MS Word and Excel. I am totally amazed. Thank you Apace for introducing this product.
