Not sure if it actually works tell you the truth.

I missed submitting the McAfee 3 device purchase to Amazon by 2 weeks due to having difficulty installing the program on my desktop. I called for McAfee assistance and finally completed the installation. it was given to my son for a second device. He was not able to install it after numerous technical calls to McAfee. Because I purchased it through Amazon, McAfee said I had to contact them. I am disappointed with McAfee after using it previous years with no problems. And I have no recourse to replace the 2022 McAfee or have the charge refunded. Doesnt any company have support, customer service for customers??!!

Everything looked fine and it has good reviews and also good protection score by the professional Anti-malware test companies. The only complaint I have is about too many popups like adds but are not real adds because is a paid version but it is too anoy to see that oftenin the screen.

I have been using Mcafee Total Protection for years. I buy it every ear and I have been choosing this one because you can do multiple computers and never have had a problem with this product

I am using the Mcafee antivirus for the last five years and it is working well. I did not face any problem.

When I tried to install this Mcafee product that I purchased and typed in the activation code it would not work. After several tries and double checking that I had entered the activation code correctly, I had to call Macfee support. I read them the number and they said the activation code was 2 letters short. I had to send them copy of my receipt as well as copy of my activation code card that was sent to me via US mail. They then had to download me a link so I could activate the subscription that I purchased through Amazon. All this took approximately a hour of my time which I was not pleased having to stay on the phone for that length of time.

Has solicitations and report ready notifications that cause my PC to lag and freeze up until the pop up appears and I close it. I dont need nor want that garbage when I am trying to do work at the computer. Asked Mcafee how to make them stop as there seems to be no way to disable in settings, received NO answer.

I was using Avast and it will prompt risks, issues when asked to fix it will prompt to pay additional cost each time e.g. remove registry or clean registry $29.00 for 1 year. Its buggy not fixing and just reporting. Hence thought of switching back to McAfee where it make us feel our laptop is secure and totally protected.

Its virus protection...so as described, still has its own pop ups to try and get you to add more etc. but it seems to be working....so there is that.
