This is a horrible product. I bought it a month ago and my 2yo son has used it 3 times. I use the term used lightly as it has been used in the water once when he jumped in to cool off. The other two times he wore it on a boat. The right side is separating at the shoulder- the entire length of the connection is literally hanging by a thread. On closer inspection, the handle behind the head - what you would grab to save the child if he fell in is also separating... Zero stars.

These fit my 3 year old son and my 5 year old daughter, they are about the same size. The thickness is pretty good, much better than the cheaper ones at local stores. We wanted something the kids can cast and fish with. I would prefer something a little thinner but they are one of the best options i could find. They are a bit dense too, which obviously comes with a little vest but be advised. The grab handle on the back is a nice feature if they go overboard.

I searched extensively for a comfortable life jacket for our three year old. He hated his infant life vest, so I wanted something he wouldnt want to rip off while boating and floating a river, especially since he can unclasp things on his own. This jacket was perfect. The baby was screaming and hot in the infant vest, but the three year old seemed to forget he was even wearing one. Great investment for our family, and I will be ordering something similar for the younger kid for next time.

Love it! Super good quality and keeps our little guy cool while on the boat. He weighs about 34lbs so this was a big upgrade from his baby vest.
