> 24 hourWe were looking at the same backpack at REI and it was $40 cheaper to purchase on Amazon. Is the exact same as what we wanted.

> 24 hourThe only thing I could complain about is the fact that the Osprey packs do not come with rain covers. However, since I knew that going in, I ordered a separate cover from another vendor at a great price. Osprey offers a brand name rain cover with the cool logo but the price is prohibitive. Im not hiking the A/T to look good; its all about function.

> 24 hourI love this pack so far. Im an entry level backpacker and I used this to pack all my things amd it fot them perfectly. I dont have any expensive ultra light or ultra compact gear and this still accommodated me perfectly fine on my trip. Would recommend. I found the pouches very convienent.

> 24 hourAbsolutely Happily Pleased with this pack. I did alot of homework and read and watched alot of reviews and it was easy to choose this one. Bought this for my son for his birthday and it blew both of our minds away. About to take our first trip with it, a 5 day hike on the island of Isle Royale. I will also be buying this same exact pack for myself, different color of course, dont want to cramp my sons style lol.

> 24 hourGot this for my husband for our overnight trip to Mount Whitney. He loves it. Adjustable, keeps weight off his back, and good storage. We might have gone up bigger If we did it again for storage, but since I carry one too it worked out.

> 24 hourI bought this backpack due to the solid reviews. This past weekend I got the chance to take the pack out for the first time - to Mount Whitney. I could fit a lot of stuff into the pack and it felt really comfortable when adjusted correctly. My big issue is that there is a terrible squeak that comes from the shoulder straps and the hip-belt with every step. It is super distracting and become downright annoying after a while - especially as you just want to hike in the wilderness with no annoying sounds. I checked out reviews after I got back and it turns out that this pack has always had an issue with squeaking. There is a post by an REI rep from 2018, where they claim that they fixed the issue with the packs from that year onwards. However, going by my experience and reading other reviews, it seems they have not fixed the issue ... or it is a QC issue. Some folks dont seem to have this problem. If you buy one, then just make sure you load it up as you would for your camping trip and walk around a bit to ensure that you dont have the squeak. For me personally, Osprey has had enough time to work on this, but it seems they havent been able to address this issue. For $270 before taxes, this pack is expensive - everything about it screams quality, other than this squeak. If Osprey fixed this issue, it would easily be a 5 star product.
