> 3 dayThis is a good quality kit. The wire lugs are heavy duty and will work perfect for a camper project I have coming up. The price for this kits is fair for everything that is included and I do like that each lug has the size stamped on them.

> 3 dayHad to extend the positive and negative battery cables on my side by side and these worked great for doing that. I love that the heat shrink tube is color coordinated to match the positive and negative cables so it looks like a professional did this and the heat shrink tube shrunk like it is supposed to and didnt burn.

> 3 dayThese cable lugs are true-to-size for both the wire size and the terminal hole size. I scraped one connector very deeply with a file to test the composition, and the lugs appear to be solid copper as stated in the description. They crimp consistently in my hydraulic crimp tool, and worked well for my battery project this weekend.

> 3 dayThis is a nice set of plated lugs for 8 AWG up to 2 AWG wires. It has four wire sizes, each with four different mounting stud sizes. The hole size and AWG are stamped on the lug, a little lightly on some, but still readable. This should cover every size you might need around the house, and save you a trip to the local hardware store, which may not have all these different sizes. They seem to be thick and good quality, the 4 AWG lugs are 0.016” thicker than some T&B lugs I have. The ends of the barrels are closed. There is no inspection hole to verify a wire is fully inserted, which is a requirement on my job. You will need a crimper made for these lug sizes to crimp them properly. The case is not very sturdy, but does keep them separated, and has a label with the sizes and locations on the top.

01-04-2025These are a good item to carry in your truck or toolbox. They have a great connection and work just as good as the factory connectors. They look great after being crimped as well. They are a decent strength, as I had to drill one to see how strong they were. I have beaten them with a hammer, after having a wire in it, and the wire did not break free. These are a great quality.

Greater than one weekI have 5 trailers and two tractors. I am constantly adding grounds and heavy wires where these lugs will come in handy. I mounted a winch to my car hauler and I was able to make custom length cables and color them red for hot and black for ground using the supplied heat shrink. The heat shrink is large enough for any of the cables I have used so far for standard automotive use. Make sure when you shrink the tape that you have it all the way forward on the lug and start at the end using a heat gun to make sure it stays and does not show bare wires if too low.

> 3 dayI ordered these for a solar project, and they did a great job. I was crimping 2AWG which is beefy and difficult. They crimp nicely, and trust me, they hold. I decided to change sizes after crimping them on and got to see first hand what it takes to fail them :)

> 3 dayThese are nice terminal ends. I have used heaver, but these are of decent thickness. I always crimp and solder lugs and these will work fine for that. The case is sturdy and will store them well.
