I have tried many famous brand so called outdoor plugs and all have failed because of moisture, so try to enclose them as much as possible, this one included.

This was easy to set up. We have this on our patio for some LED lights that we turn on every night. We recently had a situation where we could not be home. We pulled up the app and turned on the lights while we were away from home.

The first one I received was defective so I got a replacement sent to me and it was fully functional for a day before 2 out of the 3 plugs stopped working all of a sudden. I’m only using the working plug to proceed with the scheduled timers I have. The app, setup, & timers all work great tho

I am running deck lights, a pool solar heater pump and the big pool pump through this (small above ground pool, 13A of current max) and it has been working flawlessly. I have the lights on a schedule and everything works through Alexa, so I rarely need to access the app. Each outlet integrates independently and can be controlled separately. It is plugged on the side of the house, under the eaves, so without direct weather, except for the occasional storm. Temperatures have not phased it (below freezing to 80s -- well see how it does in the summer). Flawless.

I bought this to use for six very bright LEDs in my bath vanity. The dimmer works, but there is a 4 to 5-second delay between flipping the switch and the lights coming on. I attempted contacting the seller, (Melrose) but there was no follow-up. If I was using this on something light Christmas lights, I wouldnt care about the delay, but I cannot handle this much delay on an everyday basis. So, I am sadly returning the dimmer.

This outdoor plug works great. Our outdoor deck lights are now fully integrated into our Alexa and Google Home systems. We have them set up for automatic control and we dont need to find a switch when we want them on or off. The set up was simple and quick.

This company Meross cares about its customers and I love their products. As long as I been using them. We never had a prob at all. Most of the house is Meross here. As long as they keep up the good work. I will buy them. Hope all companies worked like this. Just keep up with your updates.

We dont have an Alexa so we downloaded the Meross app. My husband was able to set it up quickly. It works great! We were able to control the Christmas lights from our phones with ease. Also set up to work on a timer when we went out of town. Held up well through the rains. No complaints.

My first impression was that this is a well-made product, and after several days of use I am enjoying it. However, the installation process was difficult. The included instructions are not helpful. It took me 20 minutes to get the Meross app to discover the device. Then another 45 minutes to get it configured with Alexa. (And I am a professional engineer.) I would buy this again only because Ive been through the process once. But if this is your first smart plug, Id recommend you go with something easier to install.

I love the ability remotely control the outdoor lights in my grilling area without having to get down to manually plug them in each night.
