Took awhile to hook up to Alexa but once did figure it out it works good. Just haven’t figured out the timer.

I really wanted to like this, but after trying multiple times to connect to the Meross app for Alexa integration (in addition to HomeKit), I finally gave up. I tried: -Turning off 5ghz on my wifi router -Deleting and restarting my iOS device to clear HomeKit cache -Plugging into different outlets closer to the main router -Begging and pleading that each attempt would work, sometime waiting up to 5 minutes before seeing the dreaded “failed to connect” message And although I was able to connect to HomeKit, sometimes even THAT wouldn’t work with each connection attempt. Additionally, I found that the plug would often lose connection with HomeKit, which is another reason I wanted to connect to the Meroe app (no way to update firmware without connecting to meross app). I ended up re-purchasing the same exact device under the Refoss brand name (same company and same device model number), and it connected first time flawlessly (and much more quickly I might add). I think I just got a bad device from Meross.

I am using this smart plug on my balcony. It is plugged into another outdoor power strip. Right now Im only using one of the three outlets for my outdoor LED lights and it has been working like a charm. I have the lights programmed to turn on at sunset, and they turn off at 10pm on weekdays, midnight on weekends. I have this outlet and the other power strip mounted on the wall to preserve floor space and it makes it easy to keep the balcony clean. The app is very easy to install and use. I am very pleased with this product.

This was a bit tricky to set up as the directions were NOT good, but once I had it figured out it was super easy to connect to my WiFi. We have it installed under our covered deck to have our lights and speakers plugged into. It is a blast working it from my phone and really is exactly what I was looking for. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is because the directions are not clear. Anyone who is not tech-savvy is going to get lost setting them up.. But so far it was very much worth the price.

Doesnt čonnect home network

I am running deck lights, a pool solar heater pump and the big pool pump through this (small above ground pool, 13A of current max) and it has been working flawlessly. I have the lights on a schedule and everything works through Alexa, so I rarely need to access the app. Each outlet integrates independently and can be controlled separately. It is plugged on the side of the house, under the eaves, so without direct weather, except for the occasional storm. Temperatures have not phased it (below freezing to 80s -- well see how it does in the summer). Flawless.

This was an additional purchase, I have 2 others that have been working outdoors for a year or more.

The plug works great! Super easy to set up. Love that I can control it from my phone. I purchased this for the timer feature, but sadly that part doesn’t work. Otherwise, a great outdoor plug.

This outdoor plug works great. Our outdoor deck lights are now fully integrated into our Alexa and Google Home systems. We have them set up for automatic control and we dont need to find a switch when we want them on or off. The set up was simple and quick.

Bought this to replace an older outdoor timer that stopped working. Very pleased with 3 outlets. Lights up my outdoor decorations and was easy to put on my Alexa app to schedule on and off times.
