Park Tool ASC-1 Anti-Seize Compound

Awesome Compound, it really does work. I will say its a lot for the price but since its made in America you get what you pay for. It will last me a long time, as long as you use it in small amounts, it wasn’t just perfect for my bottom bracket, but Threaded surfaces like limit screws, axles, cone nuts, axle nuts, threaded spacers, etc. Ive used this on Limit screws, my Bottom Bracket, any place with a machined threaded surface, hole etc. In fact on my bottom bracket shell of my frame was threaded, I did put ASC-1 grease on the threads inside the shell before installing the Bottom Bracket. The biggest problem I have had is the stripping of the threads, which is my biggest problem, so I started using it on screws on my derailleurs including my freewheel, and anything and everything with a threaded surface going into metal parts. This stuff really is awesome, and Park Tool is a brand and company I trust completely they really do know what theyre doing. My only Recommendation to Park Tool is to put this in a tub like they have with PPL-1. Otherwise if you go through a lot of this you have to be prepared to spend a lot. Otherwise, I highly recommend it!

So I used a bit and let it sit for a few months. Now the oil has completely seperated and its useless.

I usually just use some general purpose grease (cheap and does the job) for the occasional bike maintenance but thought Id splurge since I was building from the frame up. Glad I did! Works great, dispenses conveniently, and doesnt have the nasty stink of general purpose grease.

This rating is for Green Canyon Outfitters as much for the Park Tool anti-seize compound. In the process of shipping there was a snafu, but Green Canyon was super helpful and prompt in addressing the situation and made sure everything was right. They were a pleasure to deal with!

More then I could use in my life. Worked as stated.

Park products are top notch for bike maintanance and repair.

I’ve been using it in bottom brackets and haven’t had any issues! Park tool makes great stuff!

This is pretty good stuff. I always keep this, or a can of Titanium Grease in my trunk. I gave this four stars because it is very industrial, and it can be pretty messy when used on anything in the house. Great stuff though!

Good product. Works as expected. Would buy again.
