The tips are not covered so if you werent careful and using these a tires with inner tubes you may be able to cut the tube during the install

Never worry about breaking one of these tire levers on a new tire with a tough bead, especially those small 16 tires on kid bikes. Keep a set with me when I bike tour and one set in the home bike shop tool box.

Quality feel and function

good tire levers for stubborn bead tires, however I seem to puncture tubes with the exposed metal every time I have used them... so it kind of defeats the purpose when I have to remove the tire and reinstall a tube. you have to be very careful when seating the bead with these when using tubes. maybe for tubeless tires they are great, or peeling off a glued tubular? ill give three stars because it might just be me.

I always use a 3 piece set, but found out, with this set, 2 irons were plenty. Real happy with this set. Too nice, Im afraid someone is going to steal them.

Perfect for installation and removal of Cushcore inserts. More leverage and less flex than plastic levers.

These are strong, work great and dont damage rims.

Quite expensive for a Tire lever I cant use. They scratch up your rims, and when installing tight tires it is quite difficult to not puncture the tube with these. Better to go with a plastic one
