I got these because the plastic ones I generally use literally broke when I was trying to get a set of nasty tires off some equally nasty rims. These babies are made of tough steel that wont bend or break, while the resin coating will protect your rims. They come in pairs, so you can keep one in your toolbox and carry another while you ride, in case you have a tire and rim combination that was conceived by demons from below.

Much much much much better than the all plastic ones. Ive a road bike and some of three tires are insanely hard to put on. I had been breaking the plastic ones which would snap in half. Thanks love these.

These will last a lifetime and are great for tight tire beads.

I had used cheap plastic levers in the past that broke. I decided to solve that problem by using steel core levers. These are affordable and work 100% of the time. I hate the feeling of being out on a ride and having a lever break on me. (Though usually a friend or other cyclists would normally offer to help).

These tire levers work well and I am very happy about the metal internal reinforcement - I cant imagine them breaking under anything resembling normal use.
