Parking Pal Car Magnet, Keep Kids Safe Around Vehicles

I ordered 4 parking pals since I have 2 children with autism and wanted then for both sides of the car since parking lots can be a scary thing with kids that have autism. They respond well with them and they now place their hands on them or stand next to them and I don’t have to worry as much with them just getting out and going beyond the cat wondering if a car will be coming. We live on a busy road and getting my toddler in to the car is always a little hectic. This has been great for giving her something to focus on while I get the car unlocked and open the door for her. Bonus is, one of my friends pointed out that it lets people know you have a kiddo coming out that door, so other people can park far enough away to give some space.

Gor this for my 3 year old son to help train him to stay at the car and not run away when I open doors. Its a magnet so you can place it wherever you need it to go and so far has held up to rain and sun. Ive been able to get my son to go give an orange high five to the magnet when he tries to run ahead to my to the car and he does it! I let him pick out the design and he loved the train one with the orange hand. I love that there were so many colors and designs to choose from. Would definitely recommend this for the kid who doesnt like to stop or run ahead as telling them to go to the hand and give it a high five can direct them and keep them safer.

I bought this for my two year old for trips to the store. Although as a parent you try to make sure your child is safe at all times, sometimes it isnt possible. When leaving the grocery store especially, I love that he has a place to put his hands so that he doesnt run away while Im trying to unlock the door with bags in my hands. I used to make him hold on to my shirt but that didnt always work. Now he can practice his ABCs for the short 60 secs it takes me to get the car open.

Awesome idea and it works! I have triplets and this has been a godsend. It has eliminated the problem of them running out and into the parking lot.

My three year old has used this since he was two. It works perfectly. Ive trained him to use it when he gets out of the car. If he gets distracted all I have to say is, Hand on the hand! and he immediately goes back to where hes supposed to be. I really like that hes not running around walking out into the parking lot.

My 2yo seemed to know exactly what to do the first time we used it. Great when loading or unloading the car at the store/park/beach etc. Little one needs some encouragement to stay and not get distracted but loves to put her hands on her pal Bottom line. It works for us but its not fool proof and you still gotta watch your kids.
