phrozen Aqua-Gray 4K Resin for High-Precision 3D Printing,405nm LCD UV-Curing Photopolymer Resin for Low Shrinkage, Great Detail, Low Odor, Non-Brittle (1KG)

I’ve really struggled to get this resin to print well with my Sonic Mini 4K. Lots of failed prints where other resins work well.

Used in a sonic mighty 4K Chitubox included resin profile works without modification. Prints are clean. Vat life seems good, part isnt as horribly brittle as some other grey resins. Would buy again.

It works well with my Phrozen sonic 4k mini. Like most resins it has a strong odor, but after you wash it with alcohol or ethanol the odor is gone.

For a novice printer like myself, this is the absolute best resin I could hope for. Absolutely no failures, printing everything I threw at it with high fidelity on the default chitubox settings in a Phrozen Sonic mini. Printed upwards of 30 miniatures, and some much larger pieces (like the tank and also a small cottage) before running out. Tried another cheaper brand after this and was floored by the lower quality, will be going back to Phrozen for faster print times and ease of use. 10/10 especially for first timers

Prints come out extremely well and outstanding detail. I am a beginner in resin printing, and this was very easy to use.

I have been trying to get good prints out of this resin since buying my Phrozen Sonic 4K, not the inexpensive 4K Mini, I have the dental lab version. I have had endless issues with prints falling off of the build plate, deforming, sagging, stretching, detaching, you name it. At first I thought it was just a bad batch of resin, so I bought more and tried again. Nope, this resin just plain sucks. Most of what I do is 1/87 scale models and miniatures, primarily vehicles and equipment. Its just terrible. Yes I am experienced in 3D printing for many many years, yes I tried changing my exposure times and lift speeds. Yes I tried the suggested settings from Phrozen. No I dont have ANY problems like this with other resins. I found that mixing this stuff 50/50 with Siraya TECH FAST ABS Gray works pretty well if you need to use up your 4K Resin and dont just want to dump it. The Siraya FAST ABS is all around much better stuff. Sorry Phrozen. You guys make fantastic printers, some of the best actually, but Im done buying your garbage resin.

Easy to dial in and the print quality is outstanding.

I can’t get the settings dialed in and far too many prints fail. Switching to Siraya Tech Fast Navy Gray.

I ordered 2 bottles of 4k grey resin to Chile. 1 month later, I got the 2 resins in the correct package, but to my surprise, when I opened them, they were 2 bottles of phrozen abs-like resin. I wont go thru the process of getting them back.. so i am stuck with these resins. I tested them. Worst resins I have test. Printed in phrozen mighty 4k, they where so stuck to the base plate, that when I was going to remove them they shattered in small pieces. bad resin. not what i ordered.

Excellent results. Once cured, holds paint great.
