The boxes should signs of wear after 3 weeks and was ripped by month 2. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Too expensive, but it is nice for what it is.

I was going to buy the red box here on Amazon, but was in a hurry and it was only maybe going to reach me by my deadline (even with expedited shipping), so I decided to look elsewhere. Hoped maybe i could find one at a local craft store (no luck), but then found them online for less than half the price here, and with very reasonable overnight shipping (just slightly more than I was going to have to pay for expedited shipping on Amazon to only maybe get it on time). So I ended up getting two (the red and purple - lovely colors to my eye - purple like a very deep jewel tone, red was bright but not overly, and very close to what I think of as a true red - not the orange undertone I feared), on time, for pennies more than i was going to pay for one (and if I werent such a procrastinator, it would have been 2 for less than 1). Im a big fan of the convenience of Amazon, but am learning to curb my assumption that I can get it cheaper and more quickly here. But I do highly recommend these boxes, and will certainly buy more - will keep checking Amazon to see if they have them in the $10 range. The red one I used as a gift-box for an album that was too heavy, awkward and sharp-edged to wrap - an oversized album (approximately 13x12) that fit in the box just fine. The box was too long, of course, but I was still pleased with the presentation. Sturdy, well crafted, no fear of warping if handled with care, and, as noted, quite eye-catching. For the craft-loving recipient of the album, the red box ended up being part of the gift. Nice!

Just what I needed to store my photos. We didnt have these type boxes in this area. Thank you. I probably will need some more.

Im trying to get organized and keep my memories safe and because I live on the Gulf Coast, easily accessible when a hurricane threatens! These are great for archiving photos, baby keepsakes, newspaper clippings and documents! I have half a dozen and have recently used to hold my fathers slides from Korea! They look great and the color makes them easy to pickup and evacuate due to a hurricane!

I really like these but one was damaged, even though the shipping box was fine. Will update if they replace.
