Pioneer Jumbo Scrapbook Storage Box, Black, 14.75 Inch x 13 Inch x 3.75 Inch

Im attempting to organize old photographs, cards, newspaper clippings, and other family keepsakes. I have archival quality boxes for photographs but as I was going through my mothers items, I realized I needed something bigger. This box is perfect. My plan is to sort all items (of which there are many boxes) by family, generation, then date/approximate date. I know now to purchase at least one storage box for each generation, example one box each for my children, and a box each for my grandchildren, and perhaps a box for each of my great grandchildren. These days when everyone can store digital images easily, there is something nice by being able to touch/hold other items, like the first drawing of a child, memorabilia from trips, tickets to a special event--anything someone finds important. Its a good idea to have digital images of the contents of each family members box but Im leaving that whoever gets their personal box.

This is clearly a plain box, and some poor sap was given the assignment to glue colored paper around it. It came with dents, and you can see where the paper was misaligned when finishing it off. This would be good to house kids markers maybe. But if youre looking for a professional looking box to store important keepsakes, move on. This isnt what you want.

I like to box very much, though I think it was quite pricey. serves the purpose for which it was intended. Time will tell the story of quality and durability.

great boxes for storage

Great box, could be a little bit sturdier, but I think it will suit its purpose and last a long time. Nice color and great price.

I ordered six of these boxes and I love them! I keep general office supplies in two of them and scrapbooking paper and supplies in the other four. The boxes and tops are sturdy enough to hold heavy paper and some weighty scrapbooking tools. I was pleasantly surprised when the boxes turned out to be true to color.

Storage box is sturdy and provides dividers to index photographic contents. Label slot on the front enables quick, clean change of label.

I used this box to store my sister who just passed away things I wanted to keep and remember her by. It was the perfect size and now resides on my self where if I need to think about her I just take ot out

Sturdy box

I have been in the process of gathering family history for our daughters and the Pioneer Jumbo Scrapbook Storage Box is large enough to hold legal documents, photos and memorabilia. I hope when the girls open their black boxes they will be pleased with the content.
