Lifesavers for those that have a mouth full of metal.

We ordered these because both of our boys got braces on the same day and flossing was going to be a nightmare. These are nice because they can floss between their teeth. However, where the string is attached there’s a knot that sticks up and these get stuck under the wire when trying to pull them out. They get the job done but our boys have to be super careful with them so they don’t break a bracket.

I have ordered these and another brand in an orange bag. These fit between my braces a lot better.

I been struggling to floss my teeth for 6 months and these matter it 10x better and easier to keep my teeth clean !!

With braces it is so hard to floss, however platypus floss helps! If you ever tried using the string floss you know how timely and annoying it is. However, I noticed that when flossing if your teeth are sore it will hurt (obviously), and sometimes it will get stuck because of a small plastic bump. Although, if you fidget it right you’ll be good.

Kiddo is new to braces and the very first day, our orthodontist said any orthodontic flosser would do, but these were one of the best available for their comfort and ease of use. We ended up trying several other options on Amazon before settling on these actually being the best. When I assist, the grip is comfy (not bulky) while still being comfortable in a young kid’s hands. We did hit the knot the first time, but it is easy to avoid. I like the strength of the floss itself and it doesn’t wear or snap easily, a problem with others. Some would snap every other tooth while being gentle. You use fewer flossers so the price isn’t that bad. Orthodontist was right! We’ll keep buying these!

I recently got braces put back on as an adult, and it is an adjustment to say the least. Although the gloss part doesn’t fit under many of my wires around my most crooked teeth, the pick part is indispensable after meals, and effective. I always carry some with me now.
