Works well for normal playmats. Bit of a pain to use it for a double sided playmat.

Ive always used playmats for competitive play, and usually would defer to using the mailing tubes that most of my mats were sent in, until I opted to use this. I was impressed with the design, as it was effective in not rolling off the table, and allowed me to display my mat in some capacity, due to the clear tube. Unfortunately, after only a few weeks of owning the tube, I noticed a small fracture at the bottom of the tube. Now, other playmat tubes (rounded rather than triangular like this one, hence why Id opted not to buy one of those) appear to have plastic caps on both sides, while this has a thin plastic layer at the bottom, and it appears that simple usage and carrying the tube in a backpack caused the crack to appear. Over time, Ive noticed that the crack has effectively rendered the tube useless, as the bottom is on the verge of falling off every time a mat is placed in it. I would gladly recommend this product to anyone looking for an effective storage solution for gaming mats, but the poor quality of the tubes bottom prevents me from recommending this, at least until Monster Protectors is able to release a revision of this with a more durable bottom.

Got these to protect the playmats purchased as birthday presents for my daughter & son-in-law. The ones we got worked great for our Christmas playmats whether playing at home, FNM, or travelling as they are lightweight yet sturdy and havent had any cracks or problems with lid coming off yet (they get banged around quite often too). For the price, its worth it to keep the playmats clean and protected from the weather and daily dust, etc. which the bands dont do and with them rolled instead of folded the playmats tend to hold up better.

I got it so that my husband could put his play mat in it. Its the perfect size and very durable!

Seals nicely. Is ALMOST waterproof. Great product and keeps my mat protected.

Keeps the playmat secure and protected. The shape keeps it from rolling around and provides a kick stand for cards during Deck building. I have had others and this style allows for easy inserting/removing of playmat no matter which way you roll it up.

First night using this to transport my mat to Friday night magic and the bottom fell out. It’s cheaply made and even simple handling will break it. Absolute crap.

Yea I am satisfied. It came early, which i like allot. It is not damaged or anything. The only thing now is that Im waiting for my mat for it now.
