I thought I liked this product. Had it for 5 months I use it nightly. Then all is the sudden it started leaking. I contacted the company to see if I could exchange they said they can offer me $5 for my inconvenience. Compared to many other Amazon products that is sad customer service. So I will toss this and look for a different product. Once I wrote this the company reached out and offered to replace my unit with a different one if I sent mine back. Which I gladly did. Waiting on replacement now. This is more like what I was looking for. Thank you for following up!

Life changing seemed overwhelming of a title to my review, so we’ll go with sleep improving! I have been constantly getting up in the middle of the night to hack out from the back of my throat or blowing my nose all the nasty. I’m not sick, no flu, no sore throat, I don’t have severe allergies, it didn’t make any sense why I always had nasty mucous build up, especially when I am laying on my back sleeping. Did some googling and found out too dry of air can cause your body to over compensate, developing mucous, but so much so that it can feel like you have a glump of it blocking your airway so badly, you can’t properly breathe. I was losing so much sleep for the past few months. I tried neti pots but that was temporary relief before ultimately back at the sink. Humidifiers apparently did the trick, took a stab at this one. No regrets!! Super thankful. Since day one of using this, I have not gotten up outta bed unless I was thirsty and needed to empty my bladder! Some things to note; -Shipping was fast as prime could be, but it wasn’t the product inside an Amazon box, just the product box itself, I don’t get these very often. I don’t think anyone would try and steal off my porch anyway seeing a humidifier, lol -The light is a bit bright, you can shut off the inside light where the tank is, but the button led is still always on if the humidifier is on. Not too much of a bother, I’ve grown accustomed to wearing a sleep eye patch. -Filled this up to max line, full blast, and I still have plenty leftover after 12 hrs of use. -I am a hot sleeper and was afraid this humidifier would make it ‘humid’, meaning hot. But it’s super refreshing getting a nice mist on my skin. I might have to buy more just to place throughout my apartment! (But I only have the issue when I’m sleeping) Thanks for making an awesome product!

Absolutely love the ease of filling from the top! Easy to access to clean. Perfect auto sensor for humidity level. I use this is my bedroom. For me, to be able to fill it from the top is a big plus. I dont have to lug it to the bathroom and tip it over to full it. With my old vaporizer it was very awkward to do every night. The capacity is a plus too. I dont have to fill it every day either. Ive had absolutely no water spillage or vapor drops in my furniture. I do have it on a water proof mat just in case. The mat has been dry every morning. I havent used the scent tray yet but plan to soon. That was another selling point for me though. Definitely recommend for anyone with sinus issues. Has helped tremendously for me

I have had a lifetime of sinus issues. I also have clinically dry eye and dry skin. Add to that, I live in the Arizona desert, so dry air is a year-round thing. I have owned many humidifiers through the years, and they all had issues that made them undesirable. I have now found the PERFECT HUMIDIFIER, and I am so happy. I can breathe comfortably without using saline nasal gel. Plus, the features of this humidifier are outstanding: 1) It is TOP-FILLING. This is a huge benefit because of convenience! I leave it in place and simply fill it with a pitcher of water when it gets low. No more carrying a heavy jug and then turning it upside down to position it just right on its stand as I had to do with others. 2) It is SUPER QUIET! I am a light sleeper. This humidifier is so quiet, I cannot hear it at all. Seriously, I have never had one as quiet as this. 3) It is EASY TO CLEAN. No small crevices to swab around. 4) It takes TAP water, which saves money. 5) The LIGHTS are wonderful - dim enough for a light sleeper like me. 6) It has an easy-to-view WATER LEVEL MONITOR. 7) It has an AUTOMATIC SETTING, which adjusts to KEEP THE HUMIDITY WITHIN A DESIRABLE RANGE. No more waking up with damp hair or dry mouth (as with other humidifiers) because the humidity was either too high or too low. 8) It NEVER LEAKS! Again, not my experience with others. 9) It is BEAUTIFUL. I have it sitting on a chair-side table in my bedroom, and it looks lovely. To me, this is very important because my bedroom looks like a spa sanctuary instead of a sick room with vaporizer-like equipment. 10) It has an AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF when the water gets low. 11) You can use ESSENTIAL OILS with it. Although I havent done this yet, Im looking forward to it. 12) The PRICE and TWO-YEAR WARRANTY are better than the competition! So, thats it. Its been a long time since I was this enthusiastic about any product!

Pros - Perfect size and easy to fill and clean. Nice looking. Cons - has an annoying low buzz, but if it’s in a room other than a bedroom, it’s very doable.

--- EDIT 2023-06-07 --- Updating my review as the unit I originally received was faulty. I got in touch with Geniani, described the issues and they sent me a replacement. For the last 3 months the replacement has been working perfectly. My review is now 4 stars; It would have been 5, but the high pitched sound from the device is still a minor irritation whichI have overcome by moving it further away from my bed, and turning on a fan. --- END EDIT --- Ive had the unit a little over 6 weeks and initially i wasnt able to sleep with it in the room due to the high pitch whining but I persisted and got used to it. Now in the last couple of weeks the small fan inside has developed an issue and sounds like its catching on internal wiring and creating a very loud buzz. Overall poor build quality. Would not recommend.

Pretty easy to use over all, but it is difficult to remember the order of button presses for when you want constant mist or intermittent mist. An indicator light, or separate buttons for each action, would be more useful I think. It is unclear if you are cycling through all the commands or going one by one when you press the buttons. But its good for eight straight hours, or more if you do intermittent, which is nice. One thing that may not be obvious is that it needs to be plugged in to work, it is not a standalone or battery powered unit! So its not quite as portable as you would think.

So far it is working well. Have it in the bedroom for added humidity especially during the winter months.

We own three of these for a reason...well, lots of reasons, actually. The top-fill feature makes it easy to fill. Both the water reservoir and the bottom that houses the vaporizer and fan are the easiest to clean, and the unit runs longer between cleanings than any humidifier weve ever used. (If you have a lot of scale, use white vinegar as a cleaner.) The one-button switch for controlling the settings (auto, low, medium, high, off) is easy to use, and the color-coded LED (inside the water level window) that tells you what setting youre using also makes it easy to see how much water is in the reservoir. We have never had any trouble with any of our three units. The oldest one has been in constant use for three years, and it still works great. Weve been through many, many different brands and styles, but so far, the Geniani 4L unit is the best.
