Power Probe PWP-PPECT3000 - ECT3000 Short/Open Electrical Circuit Tester

Got on Monday used it on Wednesday found the problem within 5 mins. Easy to use and set up would recommend for anyone in the auto business especially in Western NY where salt is hard on wiring.

Product was not new, it had been returned by someone. All the pieces were there but it had definitely been used. I have not had a job that required it’s use but returning stuff is a drag. I’m going to take a chance that the product is okay since it will take quite a while and be a hassle to return the unit that was shipped to me. Hopefully, it will work as designed.

I don’t think I can add anything to the multiple reviews of this product already on Amazon. I feel like it is a quality product and a quality case.

I was skeptical paying this much, but when my interior lights in my Cayenne suddenly quit, I couldnt find the problem. This tool pinpointed the problem within a couple minutes, no joke. Very much a tool thats worth the money.

So far it has worked just fine. Points you in the direction of the open or short circuit.

This thing makes any electrical work much easier...

The short to ground feature worked for me to find a problem in my tail lamp circuit. Took me all of 5 minutes to set up the device and find the problem using the provided pieces. Works exactly like they said it would, it really saved me a ton of time tearing out wiring harnesses to find a shorted wire. Was pretty simple and easy to use. I’ve been a professional mechanic for 15 years and this is a serious time saver if you know what you’re doing.
