This is a compact powered USB hub, each connection has its own power button. The connections are firm and stable, no wobbling of connections. Quite reasonably priced. This is truly one of the best ones I have seen in over 20 years as an IT professional.

My primary reason for snagging this was the fact that I have a game controller I dont keep plugged in all the time. When I do plug it in, it causes a set of external hard drives to briefly drop and return. This, with its independent power supply, has solved that issue. I do like the option of using either USB-C or USB-A to tie in. I opted for the C plug because adapters be funny sometimes. I do wish the included cords were 5 instead of 3.3, or at least the power cord. Made do with what I had onhand though. Long as it holds up over time, Im happy.

Using this with a half dozen RTL SDRs and its working fantastic. I get great bandwidth for my SDRs over the USB hub and into the PC, zero issues this far. Very satisfied with the performance, form factor and features of this hub. I had tried this setup with a previous USB 3 hub and it just couldnt handle the bandwidth but this one has no problems whatsoever. Its fast and very well made.

Very pleased with this solidly built product. Plenty of power to run keyboards, webcams, speakers, LED videoconference lights, and charge phones. Delivers 5 Gbps USB 3.0 SuperSpeed to devices that support it, great for flash and disk drives. Attached devices are enabled/disabled via the switches next to each port. Handy with noisy devices that youd want to leave off when not in use.

I have a 4 port hub that I replaced with this - they are basically the same size. This is very compact, and well built. The sides are metal and very sturdy. It comes with the power adapter and cable that you need to use. It powered all of my devices just fine, and I got full speed on my USB drive transfers. This hub is great and easy to use, I highly recommend.

Pros: Metal frame. Hi speed transfer. I was able to connect 2 external drives and a 32GB usb stick, and didnt notice any power or transfer speed issues with those devices. Cons: If you want to plug in a USB-C cable, then you need to buy an adapter. There are no USB-C inputs despite what products title suggests. As you can see on one of the attached photos, if you use the USB C-to-A adaptor, then, depending on your ports location, the adaptor may interfere with other USB cables, bending them (which in turn applies an extra force onto the USB port)

This powered USB HUB worked exactly as expected providing 7 USB 3.0 ports for my computer setup. Everything worked smoothly. My mouse (USB dongle) never skipped at all as with some other USB Hubs. The USB Flash drive Read/Write speeds were as fast as the drive could keep up. Another nice/unique feature was the seven Blue power On LEDs also flashed to indicate on going activities. Lastly, the aluminum housing felt solid and looked premium.

So awesome. You can charge multiple devices at once while still being able to use them. An absolute necessity.

First, this USB hub looks nice sitting on my desk. It has no overly flashy branding and the gloss black upper section is a fine complement to the matte black lower section. But besides looking nice it functions extremely well with full USB 3.0 data transfer speeds. But what I needed it for was the ability to hard disconnect hard drives, microphones, cameras, and so on with the press of a button. All those things vampire power while they are plugged in, but not when they are hard disconnected and this hub makes that easy to do. The buttons are soft touch in that they give no feedback when pressed other than the very bright blue LED turning on or off. Which suits me because tactile feedback clicks are not something every device needs anyway. The hub is optionally powered by a wall wart so that more power hungry devices can be used with it, but if you have any concerns about power, be sure to unplug it when you dont need it. Its idle current draw is not very much, but when you add together all the idle current draw sources in your home, it can be a surprising amount added to your power bill each month. Its a great hub. It looks great, it is optionally powered, it transfers data fast, and it allows hard disconnects of devices with the touch of a button. I am very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone who needs a few more USB 3.0 ports.

This is a solid powered hub for situations where you need 7 USB 3.0 ports. In my case it Im using it with a number of external drives, consolidating storage and building backups. For this task it works marvelously and Im able to get close to maximum rated speeds out of my USB 2.x and USB 3.0 drives. Good product.
