I bought 4 to try, then reordered 16 more after discovering that these were exactly what I hoped for. They are VERY heavy duty...just what I needed to reinforce the vertical posts on my decks log railings. As often happens, I bought them on Amazon because I could not find the right product at my local hardware store or fleet store. Later I found a similar bracket at a hardware store, but priced $2 higher for each bracket. I dont know why these are called rustic farm house. They are just simple, flat iron. Very nice, but not rustic. Also, they seem to be way stronger than youd ever need for holding up a shelf...unless you want to put a bunch of car tires on a shelf.?

Sturdy and worked well for what I needed. Crew set my countertop stone and didnt support it. Needed something with a lot of support to avoid a super expensive problem down the road. Will be adding a wood cover down the line, but for now it is secured.

The screws that attach the brackets to your board are garbage. The tops literally twisted right off with tightening. This created a problem with our project as we were using a pricy piece of wood. We were able to just leave the broken ones in, flip it and use it as the top shelf instead, but still, frustrating to have this problem. Get your own screws and you will be all set. Brackets seem sturdy.

I gave up on my 36 floating shelf when it kept falling out of the thin, old walls of the house & decided to reinforce it with these brackets. These are made of sturdy, thick metal & were more than enough to support both the 2 thick shelf & the 7 - 8 lbs of decor placed upon it. It has held to the wall very well with the 4 screws & anchors provided. Hoping that having the weight distributed to 4 anchored screws will work better than the 2 previous anchored screws that failed to hold the shelf up. I saw some reviews stating that the brackets could not hold up 30+ lbs, & I do think that would be expecting a lot from these. I would limit the weight to 15 - 20 lbs max. Maybe not enough for your industrial needs, but definitely more than enough for home accents & decor. Im happy with these.

We bought an 8’ long reclaimed piece of wood for a shelf and needed strong brackets. We bought a 4 pack and not only do they look great but they also are super strong and hold the shelf perfectly. Very satisfied!

the design is perfect, does not take up space below the shelf that it is holding up.

I wanted to support the kitchen island without corbels so you could sit anywhere without banging your knees. These are very strong and will not show at all, we recessed them into the wood.

Easy to put up and the screws came with it. They are very sturdy. I did not use the anchors provided, I went straight into a stud, so I can not attest to their strength.
