Holds 75+ pounds per bracket. That could mean 76 pounds or 7,000 pounds. But nowhere on the actual box does it claim 250 pounds per 2 brackets.

These brackets are very sturdy and well constructed.

I purchased these brackets for another set of shelves from a different supplier a couple years ago. They were great. I had 2 more shelves I wanted to hang up and went with this supplier this time around because they provided all of the hardware I needed and it saved me another trip to Home Depot. Everything is exactly as it should be. Would purchase again!

Honestly wasnt sure what to expect because they are affordable. I was pleasantly surprised to find the brackets are sturdy, solid iron. The holes are drilled accurately and the finish is the classic deep black you want in an industrial look. Theres no out-of-squareness when mounted on the wall. They were super easy to install. I used the brackets for an oak plank that i cut into 30 sections with some light sanding and a finish of linseed oil. Super happy with the results. I definitely would recommend these if its the look youre going for.

Ive used different sizes of these Claimed Corner brackets around my house, along with trying similar styles from other brands on Amazon, and can say these are easily the best ones Ive seen on here. I have some of them supporting 7 foot long pantry shelving that holds heavy jars and other food products, with no bend in them at all. Youll want to space them closer together for heavier shelves is all. A couple of differences with these that set them apart are - they are not painted. They have a nice dark, almost black, natural finish that doesnt scratch away easily, and is very uniform but rustic looking. Other ones Ive tried have had sloppy paint that comes off easily. Also, the screw holes are already counter sunk so you get a nice flush finish when you put the included screws in. And speaking of, the screws are top-quality, strong, and they even include and extra one in each size. My only request is that theyd offer more sizes with them. Its be nice to have some that extend to 8 inches on both ends, and perhaps a smaller size as well. Otherwise a great product.

My husband and I brackets to install shelving in our pantry. The bracket kits came with everything we needed to get the job done; screws, anchors, and a level. The brackets are industrial looking with a powder coating that makes them look fantastic. The 1/4” thickness makes these brackets super study. Probably more than we need for a pantry but we like the industrial look of them. I highly recommend these brackets and this company for all your bracket needs!

The shelf brackets arrived on time. All the hardware I need was included. Installation was a breeze. These are pricey but I doubt you are going to find a better value for the money. Heavy duty really depends on the buyers point of view. I used these for a 2 x 8 x 4 heavy oak shelf. The brackets hold the shelf fine, however I am not going to be using the shelf to hold a heavy weight.

Brackets seem to be very sturdy but the screws are absolutely terrible. Multiple screw heads sheered off even when using drilled pilot holes. Created very difficult problems given I had limited mounting options.

I wanted to add rigidity to my dining room serving counter with hidden shelf supports. I cut out 4 - 4 pockets out of the drywall underneath the countertop and fastened the brackets to the studs and bottom of the countertop. The drywall was patched and then a strip of tile was run underneath the countertop. There is no evidence of any shelf supports except on the underside of the counter where they are screwed. I replaced the included drywall fasteners with galvanized deck screws of appropriate size. No photo included, nothing to see ;-) Extremely pleased with results.
