Very hard to keep clean. Birdies like it if you get it set up just right. Now I just use regular ladders, works fine

Proportionally sized for a parakeet. I mounted it on the far wall of their cage. They used it regularly to get around. Durable, it held up to exploration with beaks

I have this ladder going up and down inside the cage to go from one rope to another I wish I would have gotten a longer one because this won’t stretch far enough. Again it’s a great item I just didn’t measure right for my cage.

My three large Macaws love their rope ladder Although it was way too small to use as a ladder for these guys, they love the fact that they can tear them apart in quick time. Each bird had his new toy stripped and chewed in only a couple days. We purchase toys to encourage our birds toward more tactile experiences and these did wonders.

Its not very large or long. But it is sturdy and my rat loves it. I dot think it would be very fun for rats over 1 year old though, depending on size.
