> 3 dayThis will be a perfect travel cage for my green cheek conure. In my opinion, it shouldnt be a home cage because I think that bigger is always better for a main cage. Every single part of me is impressed with this cage. The only gripe would be that there is a single handle in the middle which makes weight distribution a little funky and its made of the same wire as the bars so it would start to hurt if you have to carry the cage for a bit. The cup holder bolts could also be better and you would need a screwdriver to really get them to be hulked on to the bars, but you can have them stay just fine just using your hands. If your bird is an escape artist, the door mechanism may not be sufficient, but its just fine for me. Otherwise, everything else is ingenious. It took about 30 seconds to figure out how to expand it when I took it out of the box. The bowls are made in a SUPER smart way. You can kind of see it in the pictures, but the holders arent a perfect circle. they have little nubs coming out. The bowls have similar nubs on their outside so that you drop them into the loops and then rotate them so that they are locked in place and cant come out until you line up the bowl nubs with the loop extrusions. I dont think that it is super necessary, but its still very cool to me that someone thought out such an interesting concept. The bowls may be a little bit deep for some birds or for very small ones, but Im sure that most people would be totally fine with using some of their own. The perch has deep anchoring grooves so that its easy to place it and it is very stable. There is also a mechanism to hold the cage in place when it is flattened out. The catch tray is secured into place with another wire door-type mechanism but is still super easy to get to and remove for whatever reason. If you do a little bit of jamming, you can even get the bowls to fit under the wire floor for storage in the catch tray. I personally know that I wont just be using the items that come with the cage and will add some of my own, but you would be totally fine for with what it comes with. Its an amazing buy at the price point (I got mine for $37 USD). For a small to medium bird, I would absolutely recommend this cage. Just dont even bother looking at others. If you need a travel cage, this is perfect. The selling point for me was being able to collapse it. I am extremely satisfied and impressed.
