my last leather punch was over 100 years old... consequently, trying to match it was impossible... i chose to replace it with this one, and im very pleased. it fits nicely in your hand, is easier to use than most, and appears very sturdy. of course, nothing replaces practice with any tool, so i always keep a bit of leather or any other material that i might need to punch (especially for grommets), and practice a bit before using the tool on the main event! so far so good. ill check back in another 100 years...

What a great product! Arrived very quickly and was exactly what I was looking for. Heavy duty construction is great, I had a previous hole punch and I bent it using hand pressure to go through leather. I used this the first day and feel it will never bend. The only negative would be that the instructions are lacking. I obviously know what I wanted and how to use a hole punch, but some explanation about the included eyelet pliers and how to install the eyelets would have been nice. I am still not sure I did it right. This is a minor issue and otherwise I am extremely happy! I posted a review a few days ago in response to Amazon following up, but it did not appear in the review section correctly, as a result Pro-Master contacted me and asked to paste my review here. I was not able to copy and paste it, so I have written another. It was my pleasure, since I think it is important to let others know when you find a company that makes a good product that meets the description shown.
