07-04-2025This wireless programmable thermostats works well, is easy to program (for those with some technical understanding) and meets all of the specification as advertised. The thermostat itself is not as accurate as I would have hoped, it reads approximately 2 degrees F different than two other thermostats located near it. The instructions could be much more clear, for those who are technically inclined it would be hard to program.

> 3 dayGood addition to our cooler control. Set the temp you want and forget it. Remote can be moved to each room to check the temp in each room. Easy to set up and easy to set the desired temp. Would definitely buy again

> 3 dayOK to configure and connect to Alexa and Google. Programed my heater for the daily schedule based on time and temperature. Sometimes it shuts off and the configuration completely gets reset. Plugin and configure everything, if the power goes off or the internet disconnects or unplug and plug it back all setup goes off. It may be an issue with Smarthings apps. I will try with Alexa or Google to automat and check.

> 3 dayIve got a small shed that Im storing things in that shouldnt freeze. Ive got a 1500W electric oil heater in it and a Govee Bluetooth temperature monitor so I can use my phone to check the shed temp from inside my house (since its close). I tried 4(!) different simple plug in thermostats with the fixed on/off points and none of them actually worked. Returned them all. Went up in price to this unit and its been working great since. I have it set at 40F and the thermometer data shows nice tight limits from just under 40 to just over 42 when it kicks off. The instructions suck and they dont tell you how to change from Celsius to Fahrenheit. But I found that info in the answered questions section here on Amazons page for the item. ********************** SEE ATTACHED PICTURE. AND THE SCARIEST PART IS THAT IM 90% SURE THAT THIS HAPPENED WHEN NOTHING WAS PLUGGED INTO THE PRODUCT. (IT WAS PLUGGED INTO THE WALL, OBVIOUSLY, BUT I HAD UNPLUGGED THE HEATER THAT WAS PLUGGED INTO THE DEVICE PREVIOUSLY)

> 3 dayNo batteries included, you need 2x 3A. Cryptic instructions in tiny text. Works great once you get past all that.

> 3 dayI bought this to control a through the wall fan between living room and bedroom, move warmer air into the bedroom when temp drops below 67F or so. It works well for this. Off a degree or two but easy to compensate. The issue was the hit and miss owner manual. I spent almost an hour trying to figure out how to simply make the temp show in F instead of C. I succeeded only after finding this information in the Amazon listing. Beyond that, the instructions read like “push a button (there are two) three times then hold the “other button” for 10 seconds, then push a button three times, then stand on your head and make a noise like a chicken”. It took me an hour of frustration. I copied this information by a screen shot from the product listing. FINALLY i got it working. UPDATE 2/23: It does what it’s supposed to. BUT IT SUCKS BATTERIES. 6-maybe 8 weeks from a pair of alkaline AAA transmitter batteries. The transmitter doesn’t require reprogramming on a battery change. AAA batteries are inexpensive. Just sort of a nuisance to change them 2-3-4 times every winter. Leave the receiver plugged in. That way you won’t. Need to re-pair from scratch on a battery change.

> 3 dayI tested the unit and it took some playing with the controller to figure out how it works and to get readout in Fahrenheit. I thought on and off buttons were to turn it on but is always on if batteries in place and are only indicator lights to let you know if heater is on or off. I like that you can put the remote in the room location that you are trying to warm,
