Works great as a lubricant for locks, rifle casings. Anything that you need to be lubricated but dont want oil on.

Ive tried 4 different brands of graphite for making conductive paint. This was the least effective. It is also sold by volume, not by weight, and once you mix it into paint you lose that large volume and are left with not a lot of paint. I would not recommend this product for conductive paint purposes. There are better ones. I cant remember the names but they use one of them to lubricate farm equipment... That was good stuff.

I use this graphite powder every chance I get. If you’ve never used it before, please BE CAREFUL. Wear gloves and protect your surfaces. It is super fine and will float in the air (so don’t breathe too close). But even with all that said, I still love to use it. Oh! The base totally impacts the final look. Shiny base = shiny graphite finish. Matte base = matte finish. Black shiny base = black chrome-like finish. White shiny base = shiny pewter-like finish.

Very fine powder graphite, Im sure I am not using it for its intended purpose, but it works well for what I am using it for because of how finely it is ground up.

Use it to coat homemade lead shot that I tumble in a cement mixer. This is the stuff you want!

I originally purchased this to make conductive paint for an electro-plating project. It didnt work too well for this, but Ive since found a host of other uses around the house. It works great for making the rails on keyboard drawers and similar places where theres metal on metal contact. It seems to coat the materials without oil so it doesnt gunk up. Be very careful when using around carpets as its a real pain to clean it up if it gets wet. A vacuum cleaner works if its dry.
