The clasp design grabbed the wires like a pair of scissors between the stainless hook and the plastic latch. Made it a bit of a hassle taking down Xmas lights. Began rusting within the first month. Perhaps they’re not meant to be out in the rain.

Nice screws, plastic is a bit cheap and bends really easily which made it a bit extra work to screw the hooks in without breaking the plastic piece off. Almost feels like a strong wind would remove the plastic but the hooks still work

I hung string lights on my garage outside. These hangers went in like a breeze - I did drill pilot holes. But they are very sturdy. And the black clip its genius. Makes it really easy to slip the wire in and snap it securely in place.

It served the purpose to hang the string lights I bought.

Just what I wanted, a screw-into-wood eaves to run string lights. the black plastic/rubber piece unlocks and relocks to hold the string/wire in place and with a plastic tie which I also used.

went digging for hooks to hang my led string lights in my pergola, saw many that were the bent metal clip kind that drilled through the body of the hook and broke on installation. these are great that they dont have the holes in the stem of the threads portion, the black part is plastic and kinda clips to the hook when closed (it has a hinge portion) so they should be a lot better. will be installing them later and update if it breaks

I have stand up fishing rod holder and the rods would not stay in the rubber holders. Scraped those rubber holders and drilled holes, screwed these in and it’s exactly what I needed!

We used these hooks to hang up solar lights around our back yard off the brick fence. They were very easy to use and made the process much simpler. The hooks were super easy to open and close securely over the light string. I’d highly recommend these hooks for any backyard hanging project.

The black clips snap into place and do what they’re intended to do!
