When I tried to tap in with a hammer as suggested, they bent.

Hooks are good for small cups, but theyre too small for coffee mugs.

We bought these to hang Christmas lights on our wooden fence. We wanted something that would hold them in place but would be easy to take the lights down after Christmas. Perfect!

The clasp was too tight to use! To put the lights in you would have to use pliers or some tool to put the lights in and to take them out. Completely worthless!
