QWORK G80 Alloy Steel Hammerlock Coupling Link Connecting Link, 1/2, Red Painted, 12000 lbs Working Load Limit,2 Pack

Coupling fit well on my truck. Havent used it yet, so cant say much about it.

Works as advertised. Hammer lock is difficult to assembme in the confined space around a trailer hitch, but product seems well made.

After installing hitch lights on my truck I need a way to reach behind them to hook up my trailer chains. In the pictures I have attached you can see why I needed them. The hitch lights made it impossible to get to the holes on the hitch slide. I did have a little trouble getting the locking pin through the connector link. Installing them is defiantly a 2 person job. Other than that great product. By adding the Connecting link I am now able to hook my trailer chains to them. I also love the red color because all the ascents on my truck are red and they tie into my color scheme nicely.

First I hammered the pin into the buckle. Then I used 2 vice grips to get the outer buckle off. Then I used a screwdriver to hammer out of the inner buckle. Then I hammered the inner and outer buckles back together. At this point the buckle is looser and I can hammer the pin into the coupling link on the hitch. This is an F-350. Youre welcome.

Solves the newer Ford Superduty chain hook up issue.

One of the hammer locks worked fine, the other was a bad casting which prevented the halves from assembling. I had to grind down the bad casting, destroying the paint and also mill down the compression bushing in order to assemble. I didnt have the luxury of waiting for a replacement and its serving the purpose i need, but will not buy from this manufacturer in the future.

Sure makes hooking up the safety chains easier.

Great product, easy to use. The only thing was that the coupling the holds The shackle had some rust on it. No to a deal killer I will inspect some rust from my use, I didn’t expect to come rusted. Besides that great product I use it almost every day, and my friends asked me where I got it and I sent him the link to this great product!

Great for Safety chains

I use these to allow my trailer chains to hook into my truck, they work well for allowing the larger attachment hooks to go on and off more easily. When installing I found that it took three hands a,two hammers and patience to get them to go together correctly but once they go together and installed I have not had any problems with them.
