> 24 hourI bought this for 34.99 on Black Friday, so the review will be based on this price point. The ergonomics are very comfortable for someone with a medium-sized hand and a palm/claw grip. The interchangeable sniper triggers (lowers the DPS while trigger is depressed) are very nice quality and have a satisfying tactile feel. Multiple lengths for different hand sizes are included. Customization through Razer Synapse is relatively straightforward and expansive as far as mouse customization goes. Especially at this price point, I couldnt possibly give it less than 5 stars. Build quality is great, awesome mouse wheel resistance adjustment on the bottom of mouse, and just a super smooth experience.

> 24 hourAbsolutely stunning are the words I use to describe this mouse. I play alot of CS and I saw this mouse and was skeptical of it because mice like the G403 and the Zowie EC1A exist but honestly there are functions this mouse does that are simply better than those mice. For example the clutch dpi clutch and the hypershift mode for the mouse are some of the best quality of life features for any FPS gamer. As I mentioned I play CS and if you need to pull out any nade I can bind all my nades to either the side buttons or use the clutch to free up the side buttons and instead only use the dpi clutch to pull the nades. Not only that but the mouse has many many more features I wont get into. Essentially you can program it to do pretty much anything on your PC. From opening programs with a push of a button to text prompts. Also has on-board memory for multiple profiles and to top it all of a mouse wheel resistance tab (for a lack of a better word). This mouse is truly one of my favorites ever. The only downside is the slightly higher delay on the buttons, the Logitech mice all have a button delay of 4 milliseconds while the basilisk and most other mice have a delay of 8 milliseconds. This is the only downside for this mouse and isnt a flaw that will hurt your gaming experience that much. Pros: -Dpi clutch -Fully customization on the buttons that literally allow you to do anything with the mouse -16000 dpi 5G sensor -RGB lighting -Compatible with Razer synapse for all other customization needs -Tension for the scroll wheel is adjustable, not as much as the free wheeling on something like the G903 but regardless a nice touch Cons: -Mouse is a little on the heavy side but no heavier than its main competitor the G403 -Slightly worse delay on the buttons than the Logitech mice but no worse than any other mouse competitor -Razer synapse can be hard to set up but when set up it is pretty straight forward -This may seem nit picky but alot of gunk can get stuck in between the grooves of the thumb rest but its hardly noticeable while playing

> 24 hourSo Ive had this mouse for about a year now, and I do very much like it. It feels good in my hand, and was a decent purchase when it was on sale for about $45.00 when I bought it. Now however it is back up to $70.00, and after a year of use there are some issues with the mouse. First of all, after maybe 5 or 6 months of use a small piece of plastic inside of the scroll wheel mechanism broke. I dont know how. I would try to open it up and fix it myself, but I know almost nothing about computer mice, and I was surprised to find that the scroll wheel worked perfectly, and it could even be adjusted still. I thought nothing of it. Then after another 2 months or so, I started to notice that there were inconsistencies when scrolling. For example, if I am scrolling down at a medium pace, then I slow down, the next few scrolls will scroll much longer. I didnt use to do this before (or at least I didnt notice). Then a week later, the middle mouse click started to act up. Now you have to press on it with much more force than any other mouse owned. Its not horrible. The force required to press middle mouse isnt really much more, I just wish it hadnt happened. Im not going to buy a new $70.00 mouse because of this. Also, as noted in someone elses review, the little rubber piece on the left side of the mouse feels like it is peeling off. It hasnt every come off, it just doesnt feel like its attached very well in the corner. I noticed this after only a week. Its only been 1 year, what is going to happen after another? Hopefully this is the extent of quality issues, and Ill be able to keep using this mouse for at least a few more years. Ive had worse things happen to mice, but as this is a $70.00 product Im disappointed. Also the software is annoying, but this has already been said in other reviews. These are only small things, and the mouse is still really good. It can be really sensitive for FPS games and what not, but also a lot less sensitive for regular use. I like the mouses multi-function paddle. I use it to slow down the DPI when pressed, so when Im trying to accurately click on something, I have much more control. Overall, the mouse is very customize-able, and nice to use. However the build quality of the scroll wheel seems to have some problems, and the software is a bit garbage. Good buy, but even better if on sale.

> 24 hourThe size is perfect. Ive used over 20 mice including the top G-Pro, SteelSeries Rival series, DeathAdder Elite, Zowie, you name it... this is by far my favorite. I was skeptical about the shape at first, but man its comfortable and grown on me. My problem with other similar ones such as Logitechs G502, was that it was too bulky and buttons felt cheap. This one is perfect, along with its weight, and its just smooth/accurate. I mainly play CS:GO, PUBG, and Overwatch at high levels. Great mouse, and super underrated. If you like the G-Pro size, or G502, then you will love this.

> 24 hourI wish it was a little wider, with my last two fingers hanging off my hand will start cramping after too long, but I realize most gaming mice are like this. The reason for 4 star is cause the grip under the thumb keeps popping up, as it it wasn’t taped down as good. This has happened since day one, gets annoying in the middle of a game when it pops ups

> 24 hourThe Razer Basilisk is an excellent, highly rated mouse. You can also get it for a great price here on Amazon. I was excited to finally get a copy of it in hand. Unfortunately, my thumb is too big to fit on the left side of the mouse without depressing the forward and back buttons. Without the thumb rest, it would have been fine as the Basilisk is a fairly good sized mouse. However, as it is, it just does not work and I had to return it. I still think its a great mouse and highly recommend it.

> 24 hour+ the ability to change the amount of scroll tension is nice + able to set 5 different dpi settings in +all the buttons are programmable, even macro-able I thought the dpi clutch would be more useful than it really is, to me, the ability to greatly increase or decrease your sensitivity might be more useful to some people.

> 24 hourThe overall feel of this mouse is nice, but its held back by some hard-to-ignore flaws. The sides of the mouse are smooth rubber which feels awful and is impossible to keep from feeling greasy, no matter how often you clean it. My wife has a Razer mouse and the rubber wore away in less than a year, which I expect to happen here — I wouldnt have ordered it if I knew the size and smoothness of the rubber. Additionally, the mouse wheel click is incredibly sensitive and happens often when scrolling the wheel. Razers keyboard and mouse software borders on bloatware, and is incredibly intrusive and a pain to use. For all it does, it still wont boot your system with the LED settings youve saved so you have to tolerate the obnoxious default rainbow setting until the OS loads Razer Synapse. Coming from a Logitech G500 (which is no longer sold, unfortunately) this mouse doesnt really stack up. The rubber texture is hard to get past and the software is too much.

> 24 hourAfter a month I was getting an Intermittent Mouse click. (At first I though Going through Amazon for a return, but then its not their fault) So RAZER Support. RMA process is a NIGHTMARE! I submitted an RMA, They replied with about 20 things to do and I did them. Then waited and and waited. Daily I wrote back. After 2 weeks I got a Please Submit Logs files. So I submitted them. Waited. Asked daily 7 Weeks later I got a Letter, Saying MY NEW Support Ticket is now a new Number. Waited waited. Asked and Asked on Status (Daily) Weeks after that I got a reply what my RMA was Submitted and I will receive a Label to return it. A week after that I got a RMA Label Shipped it I think 2 weeks ago, Last week they said they have assigned a new one to be shipped out. But I have yet to receive a Notice. Meanwhile of course I BOUGHT NEW MOUSE Who can go without a mouse for 4 months or more? (Its been so long I cant remember how long) I honestly would have been better doing a return to AMAZON. Dear RAZER, Love your Products but who ever is in charge of RMAs and Support FIRE THEM! ASAP! Update 9/22/2020: finally received the Replacement Mouse - 5 MONTHS LATER. Needless to say I bought another Mouse. I wish it would have failed within the Return date from Amazon. If you do buy this, pray it fails quickly.. (If it fails again, its trash time, and Logitech gets my business forever.)
