Greater than one weekThis was a great upgrade to my stock plastic extruder. It is easy to install and was a breeze setting up. Make sure to calibrate your extruder after installing since it will be slightly different. The tension on this is perfect and I don’t hear slipping or clicking when printing now. I bought this for my Ender 3 Pro with stock extruder motor.

Greater than one weekOut of all the upgrades I have done on my ender3 v2, this one has been the most noticable as far as print quality. For the price, its been one of the cheapest upgrades (other than the ones I printed my self). Now if I can only find a bed that gets good consistant adhearence print after print. Also, switching this over to Direct extrusion will be easy and will be even better.

> 3 dayI have a generic CR10 clone that had a plastic extruder and I had issues with the hobbed gear causing under-extrusion. This extruder was a nice upgrade to get rid-off the plastic parts and fix my issue. This extruder provides good tension and makes it way easier to get the filament in, my under-extrusion issues are solved and it looks and feels solid. Overall Im completely satisfy with the investment. The grey color was a plus for me since I was on denial to get a common red one. Bit disappointed that it had a two noticeable dents which kind of ruin the otherwise perfect upgrade. Not sure if it was during shipping but it came in a ziplock bag inside a bubble line amazon paper bag, perhaps a box or more padding would have avoided the dents.

15-04-2025While it seems to be a high quality unit, the brass gear part that move the filament bites into TPU and jams regardless of pressure. I tried two different brands of TPU (Sain Smart and Overture) and jammed on both. I backed off the spring to the minimum pressure and it still doesnt work. After inspection and comparison with the factory provided gear, I noticed that your gear teeth are very sharp and way deeper than the original part. I CHANGED BACK TO THE ORIGINAL GEAR AND SPRING AND THEN PRINTED TPU JUST FINE.
