This controller broke down on me within a few months. Im a retro streamer on Twitch, and it malfunctioned in the middle of a stream, causing me to have to end the stream. Upon taking it apart, I was appalled to find that the rubber buttons had completely separated from the rubber block, causing the controller to jam on particular buttons whenever they were pressed, as they had no spring-back to go from the pressed position back to the ready position. Terrible, sub-par product.

Button layout is precise compared to original. Nice color and it seems sturdy.

It was a good product for fighting games but it is not very durable. The D pad finally broke making it useless. It lasted almost a whole year but thankfully it was cheap, which is the only good thing about the controller.

I got this controller for my brother because the one that came with his Sega Genesis Mini for Christmas wasnt working well for him. I purchased two so he can play with friends, and they both work wonderfully! Would recommend seller and product if you like retro gaming like the Sega Genesis Mini.

I love this product

Unlike the 8-button USB Genesis controllers and retro-bit Sega Saturn USB controllers, you do not hold start for 5 seconds to switch to X-input mode from D-input. You hold Start + B for 5 seconds. I am grateful the controllers came with instructions this time, though. Other than that issue, I think these are pretty decent controllers. I have no issues using them while playing Super C in an emulator. Thats a game where I find its easy to die when using a crummy d-pad and you get a bunch of unwanted diagonals instead of just going prone when you need to duck under incoming fire. I dont have that issue with the d-pad on this controller. Im excited to use these on the Genesis mini thats coming out later this month. Im pretty happy with these controllers, especially for the price theyre charging for them.
