> 3 dayConnected to my radio and the SWR meter just fine (got a SWR of less then 1.1), Im grabbing a couple more to build a poor mans GMRS repeater with a two hand helds and a RPT-2K Two-Way Relay, Ill update again after I hook that up UPDATE: Dropping two-stars from my original review after getting the two new new cables, both cables had issues with the threaded collar either being crooked or missing a spacer (to long), or the rubber boot.. Overall just sloppy assembly.

> 3 dayIt is an important part of the test gear of my transceiver, if it fails my P.A. will be damaged.

> 3 dayIt worked acceptably well for three months of occasional use as a patch cable when I needed an SWR meter in line. But despite careful handling something internal broke and now its only a partial connection. I have replaced this with much higher quality 3 coax and have never had a problem. Only worth the trouble if a) you never touch or move it after installation and, b) you must spend the least amount possible. I wont put my radios at risk of damage with cheap coax.

Greater than one weekthis product sucks. the pl259 connectors are of poor quality 1. ive never seen a screw portion of the connector sit so crooked. 2. the soldering of the center connector looks like a toddler did it. when i first saw it, i verified with a multi-meter that their wasnt a short. 3. 1st time i used it, an antenna that i thought was pretty good showed me an swr much higher than i expected. it showed almost 2:1, and i expected 1.2:1 4. i then put the coax on an antenna analyzer with an 8 ohm dummy load. as i scanned through the frequencies, the analyzer showed swr of 1.6:1 up to 2:1. with any other coax that dummy load is 1.0:1 on every frequency. . not sure what kind of coax this is, because there are no markings on it. Im considering cutting a connector off and see if this wire is even coax.

17-04-2025I needed a smaller cord to plug in my SWR meter and this was perfect just zip tied the back of it and talked it away , this cable is a jumper for the swr not for the antenna I totally would say I give this a thumbs up
