Rio Grande Games Dominion Dark Ages Expansion, Brown

I love this expansion. I have almost all the expansions and this one is my favorite.

....of what are all good expansions actually. I had no Dominion products until recently and this was one of the first expansions I picked up. After reading up on the others this ones darker and trash oriented theme appealed to me more than the others. Not to matter as I quickly planned to and then did get them all.

Im giving it 4 stars because my husband, who plays this game religiously at work with his other nerd coworkers, loves it. I hate it. He made me play it and I swear, part of my souls just gave up the ghost and is no longer with me. I was so depressed while he attempted to teach me. I would give it zero stars. Dont play with your spouse.

You wont win a game with a treasure strategy in this edition, which is nice.

I play a lot of dominion(several times per week, several games per night) and now own all the major expansions. I like dark ages the least. Not that its bad, but I just find the cards less useful than in other expansions. This is heightened by the very unique theme in Dark Ages. Theres lots of trashing cards in this expansion, and many that take advantage of trashing to get points, cards, coin, etc. Some even let you take cards out of the trash. However, the theme breaks down if you dont have a majority of your kingdom cards from dark ages. In other words, it doesnt play well with the other expansions.

One of the best expansions to my favorite game. It is the most complex though and is not for people new to Dominion. Get some experience under your belt.

This expansion is a family favorite.

Its a great expansion, I received it quickly, and undamaged. I love what this expansion brings to the series, but there are definitely other expansions I would recommend buying first. Such as Prosperity, Seaside, Hinterlands, or Guilds.

Love the Dominion games, endlessly interesting to play. No two games are wver the same.

I love Dominion, but this expansion pack is meh. There are some good cards, but most are just annoying to use.
