Rockford Fosgate P500X1BD Punch 500 Watt Class-bd Mono Amplifier

Nice amp, pushing a single 12 P3 at 1 ohm. Doesnt sound as good as my Skar Audio RP800.1 on the same sub but that one over heat after 1 hour of continuous use, this one doesnt break a sweat. It also pumps out much more power than its rated

I hooked it to P3 10 inch dvc subwoofer. The amp is running 742 watts to the speaker on a 1 ohm resistance. Rockford Fosgate is quality, reliable, and affordable. I always have and always will rate them number one overall. It is an American based corporation. If a person wants to spend money on audio equipment it should be from a name brand that has a history of offering a selection of merchandise that will please any audiophile at a price well worth paying!

Powering 2 - DVC P|3s and they sound great. I spoke to a Rockford representative and he said this was more than enough to power my setup.

The amp was awesome for a month. As soon as my return window closed, the amp started messing up and no longer works. I should have paid the extra $100 to by direct from Fosgate! Oh and now the seller avSounds is out of business! No wonder!

I know people give out birth certificate of watts and mine came out to 789 in one ohm. Mine is wired at two ohms and delivers 511. I highly recommend this amp.

Rockford-Fosgate has been in my car amp lineup since the 80s. Ive never had a failure or performance issue and they are rock solid and CLEAN! Bought this one for my son for a Christmas present to match up with our professionally home built 15 sub and it sounds fantastic! Rockford-Fosgate continues to hit the mark for performance, quality and value.

Always been a Punch fan!! I have the Rockford P500X1bd pushing a 10in 2ohm Kicker CVT. The sub is in a MTX Bass Slammer enclosure for a 2005 Chevy Tahoe. The sound is clean and there is plenty of power. The birthsheet that came with my amp says 770 watts @ 1ohm. Very easy to setup and get the proper gain for your particular system. Would definitely buy again and recommend.
