Greater than one weekSound quality of my sub is better than I could have ever asked for! Came with everything I needed and more and was plenty long for my sedan. I’d definitely buy another.

> 3 dayThis is just about the best wiring kit out there for a single amp up to 1400 watts. If youre a beginner, buy this! It includes all the parts for a basic audio install, including: 4 AWG Power Wire+100 Amp fuse - 17 feet. More than enough for most small cars. Had some slack running from the battery to the trunk, which is what you want in case the amp needs to be moved in the future. Very flexible and absolutely soaks up solder. Extremely high quality true 4 AWG cable. Single channel RCA cables - 20 feet. Good quality black and grey RCA cables, also long enough. If youre looking to set up just the front speakers or a sub, this is enough. If you want front, rear, and sub channels amplified, then get another 2 channel cable or 2 more 1 channel cables. I opted for the single 2 channel for a cleaner look. This is a must for 4/5 channel amps. 4 AWG ground wire - 3 feet. More than enough length to find a good grounding spot. Also excellent quality, same as the power cable. 16 AWG Speaker Wire - 30 feet. This is definitely the weak point of this wiring kit. Id say to completely skip the cable here, as there are two problems: 1. It is far too short if you plan to run front and rear speakers. For just fronts, itll just barely be enough, because you have to route along the car and through the doors. 2. It is copper coated aluminum (CCA) cable, which is higher impedance than regular copper cable. This means lower power transfer. I switched it out for the Monoprice 16 AWG OFC cable, which performs perfectly. Get the 100 ft spool to be sure you have enough. Leave slack in the trunk as well in case you ever need to move your amp around. 20 AWG Amp remote wire - 20 feet. Work exactly as intended, no problems here. Enough to splice the extra for multiple amps to run off the same remote wire. Various wiring hardware (none are heat shrink): 16 AWG quick releases for speakers (5), 16 AWG Spade connectors (4), 16 AWG butt splices (3), plastic firewall grommet for power wire (1), 5 inch zip ties (15). All of these work as intended, also no issues here. They are all very useful. Also included is an extra ring terminal for power/ground and a rubber face to go over the end of the wire and ring terminal for a more professional look and extra shielding. Since it is 4 AWG, it can only handle up to 1400 watts with this power wire. This is a matter of physics, so if you plan on running more power, get the 0 AWG kit. I also recommend doing the Big 3 upgrade with 0 AWG to have access to all the power you need. This is a single amp, 2 speaker or 1 sub kit-you will need more wire and hardware if you plan on doing more than that. If you know what you need, buy it separately. It will be cheaper and you can customize to you own vehicle.

> 3 dayThis is the wiring kit that was used in my car for my Sub woofer installation. The installation consisted of a Kenwood receiver-wired to an Kenwood 1000w Amp-then connected to a Kenwood 1200w sub. This cable was plenty long enough to reach from the front to back of the vehicle (Chevy Malibu), and with a bit of wire to spare (even running the power and RC cables on different sides to avoid them from creating distortions). The wire is very thick, and after cutting off about an inch of it for a clean workable cable, it is clear that it is very dense and pure copper. The cable is also surprisingly flexible for how thick it is, and is easy to work with. I would definitely recommend this kit. It even comes with extra wire adapters I used to hook up some LEDS in the car. Thanks Rockford for being great per usual.!
