Rothco Canvas Zipper Duffle Bag

From the reviews, I gathered that the 25 part of 25x42 should be taken with a grain of salt. I figured it was probably a circular end with a *circumference* of 25, making the diameter about 8, perfect for what I was seeking. However, it is instead a circle with diameter about 15. In other words, its HUGE. In what way can this dimension possibly be called 25 ??

The size alone but the heavyweight zipper and canvas material make this a excellent buy

All I have done so far is pack my inflatable boat in it, but this bag is great! It seemed a little small at first, but once I started to put the boat and oars in it, it took everything with a little room to spare. Bag seems to be made out of a higher quality canvas material.

This is a very large bag. I got the Large bag which is the middle size and it is very big. It fits quite a bit of clothes. Its not really realistic for airplane travel. However, if you are driving and need to take a lot of stuff with you this is not a bad bag to have. Its held together pretty well. The handles feel sturdy even when it is full. No problems with the zipper either.

arrived quickly and the bag seems to be well made, I used it on my motorcycle recently and it did become brittle and break slightly in the areas that were near the exhaust pipe. I monitored it vigorously and at no point was it closer than 6 inches away from the heat source. I actually had nylon webbing straps closer to the pipes then the bag that were completely fine, while the bag melted underneath them. Nice bag, do not expect any heat resistance.

I bought XL bag in black. I use it to hold my Ozark Trail 10 person instant tent 10 ft by 14 ft, the floor tarp, and tent stakes. There is a little extra room but not a lot. The zipper is 47 inches long, the diameter of the end of the bag is roughly 19 inches when full and length is 50 inches. Great bag for my purposes.

Took this bag to a recent weekend getaway and was able to pack Everyones stuff, with room to spare. Thats a lot of stuff for a family of five! Parents know how bulky it can get to pack for three young children, and this bag addressed that problem. The reinforced handles does not disappoint either. To those who commented about the strong (fabric dye) smell, heres what I suggest you do (worked for me!) - put three scented fabric softeners inside the bag, and run a short cycle in the dryer. Your bag will not shrink, mine kept its size and shape, and was all around perfect for what I need it for. Excellent buy! -AT.

I am a craft vendor, I was looking for a duffle bag for my tent canopy that was easy to load into the car and store later. Perfect! In fact I am going to purchase another for the tent sides!
