Rothco Canvas Zipper Duffle Bag

i got this thing and climbed inside of it it was so big! it is like a body bag! the only bad thing about this is that you can fill it with so much stuff that it cant handle the weight! i realized that and now i use it to hold toms. a great buy for the price however! (i bought the largest one BTW)

Use it as a tent bag so I don’t have to fight the small one that comes with the tent. Makes camping way easier!

Fabric could be a little better quality ,a little too easy to tear with anything sharp.

This is a very large bag. I got the Large bag which is the middle size and it is very big. It fits quite a bit of clothes. Its not really realistic for airplane travel. However, if you are driving and need to take a lot of stuff with you this is not a bad bag to have. Its held together pretty well. The handles feel sturdy even when it is full. No problems with the zipper either.

Be careful when you order this, the item # 3478 by Rothco is in fact a 21 x 36 duffle. Acemart will ship you a 30 x 50 body bag with the product number of 3478. 3490 is a 30 x50 bag. I wanted the 3478 21 x 36. The price is great and the bag is great quality, but enormous!! I will keep it and store something in it..But have gone with another company and ordered the smaller size I actually wanted. Acemarts shipping label said the 30 x 50 was item number 3478. Its not...

I bought this bag as a part of a costume as a bank robber from the movie Heat. It worked well for that and it seems well-made but I havent owned it for years and really tested its durability over the long term so take this review for what its worth.

This is an excellent bag for carrying extra stuff around in. I like the side zipper because you can access everything, easily opening the whole side of the bag vs. top loading duffles.The only caveat though is that the first one I received was from a seller (CH) here that is shipping counterfeit product, so I returned it via FBA (free) so I could get a genuine Rothco bag.

This review is based on an old Rothco duffle I have, which is the reason I bought another! These bags are made of heavy material and over the course of several years of jamming the first one with all kinds of stuff, throwing it into car trunks, onto concrete, wooden, and asphalt floors that first bag has suffered zero rips, tears, failed seams, nor have any of the handles or d-rings failed in any way. The dual zippers have also held up and still work smoothly too. I guess the best recommendation I can give is that I bought a second one. So why did I only give it 4-stars in value? Because it does not come with a shoulder strap; had to buy one separately. If Rothco would include a shoulder strap this duffle would be perfect!

BIG quality duffel. Durable canvas with a nearly bomb-proof side zipper. I use it for a large roll up sleep pad to store in the closet and tote when I travel. It has great side handle and a handle at each end. Also D-rings at each end for a shoulder strap (not included). This is not a water resistant bag, but can be made so with some commercial scotch guard (TM). Compare prices of other products this was a great buy!

It is hard to find a bag this large. I needed it to house a cabin tent that was backed into the original bag with a pneumatic press. This bag was more than large enough to house it. It seems to be very sturdy, I am so glad I was able to find it.
