> 3 dayI used Toast from the very beginning (more than 25 years). It was the best Mac software for burning CDs and later DVDs. However, last two versions (18 and19) became unusable: plenty of small annoying bugs plus huge payments for each update. These updates could not be easily installed, instead complicated procedures had to be invoked. Recently I bought new MacBook Air and transferred all software packages w/o any problems - that is with an exception of Toast. Tech support wanted to see remotely contents of my drive... I gave up - Apple software allows for easy data disks creation while nobody copies or creates DVDs anymore. Do not buy unless you want to waste your money and time.

> 3 daySpent hours trying to burn a simple blu-ray. On attempt number 16. I have tried everything. Shouldnt be this difficult. No feedback on what is going on behind the scenes during burn. The upgrade is supposed to be compatible with OSX Big Sur. Still does not work. I miss the days of the reliability and flexibility of Adobe Encore. Tech support is non-existent.

> 3 dayI have used Toast for over ten years and have been delighted with the resulting blu-ray disks. The current Titanium Toast 19 Pro creates blue-rays that are fuzzy, shaky and totally unacceptable. They look like old VHS videos from 20 years ago. The old Toasts were perfect. This new version with all the bells and whistles is worthless.

> 3 dayI am not sure if there are bugs with this software or that macOS is not so good at supporting optical discs, but I have spent too much time looking at spinning beachballs and nothing happening. Ive encountered several failed attempts at burning discs including archival M discs which are quite expensive. Customer support from Corel is non -existent. I have tried alternatives and they seem to perform no better. However, when Toast does work it does a good job and offers a good range of customisation. For best results, always remember to burn at half the speed recommended for the disc or slower and this advice should be included in the Roast instructions.
