Great system. I like having my lawn equipment out of the way.

New garage, wood paneling, they work and look good doing it.

Very good kit, comes with the basics for what you need to hand hoses/rakes/shovels or any other item you need in your garage. Currently have three up, two for basic household stuff and one for my bicycles!

Works great! But this one is small... wish I bought a longer one. Read the directions first! The weight bearing capacity is very specific to stud placement!

My garage studs are 16 centers. The rail is 32 long. The instructions direct you to screw to the middle stud first, and when you do so, the 32 length means that the rail doesnt overlap the adjacent studs, nor are there screw holes to attach it. I wonder if the designer has ever used a tape measure before? It worked better to secure it to a horizontal 2x4 properly attached to the studs. I wont buy another of these again, particularly since the hooks bend so easily.

I bought a number of Rubbermaid FastTrack system pieces to help organize my garage. This kit contained a number of useful hooks and was a better value than buying them piecemeal at a hardware store. Installing the FastTrack system is very easy if you have exposed studs. Simply run a level along the studs at the height required and then use wood screws at every stud. With a wood screw every sixteen inches, I have no issues hanging full size mountain bikes at intervals along the track. A few cons: 1) the plastic covers for the tracks slide freely to the sides. You cannot fix them in place unless you glue them and then theyre stuck in place. Rubbermaid should remedy this by providing a means to clamp them in a fixed position. 2) the rails come in sizes that dont play perfectly with 16 stud increments. You always wend up with an end of the track hanging over the edge of the stud. Also, they dont have a means of connecting two adjoining rails to make a continuous run of track. You can butt the two edges together and it works, but theyve provided no means to connect them with hardware for added stability and strength. Those two issues aside, the FastTrack system works great and has freed up a lot of space in my garage. With our bikes, rakes, shovels, and other miscellaneous items mounted off the garage floor, it makes the area feel more spacious and allows us to park two cars inside without it feeling cramped.

I just got done installing this system on a wall and have found that the single hooks are not available from anywhere. When I called Rubbermaid directly, I was told that there is no such item. How can this be when it exists in the 5 piece kit? I installed 132 inches of Fast Track and want to put some items on the wall that need single hooks. Rubbermaid, please wake up and offer all the components separately! The product quality is great, but availability of single hooks is why I gave this 3 stars.

This is a very good value and it works every well. I suggest you have a level when you put this up. I have this shorter one with two ladders on it and a 10 foot one with half of the garage on it.

I have several 8-foot tracks in the garage and barn. Each section can hold a lot of weight when installed on studs, and the ease of lateral adjustment allows me to hang a lot of items with no wasted space. The basic yet versatile open-fork, two-prong accessory is good for 90% of all my needs such as brooms, rakes, shovels, and even step ladders, while the many other hanger options might be better for hoses, bikes and odd shaped stuff.

I would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to get organized. Sturdy, strong and made from high quality materials.
