Nothing wrong with this system, just dont like the kit. The rail is only 3ft, vs 4 or 8 ft standard you can get elsewhere. Also I found I didnt really need the single hooks so much. Make sure you check out the option of just buying the pieces separately to match your needs.

All these low reviews - go get a life. This 49.98 product was perfect for my needs. Studs? you dont freaking need to follow construction protocol on studs specifications. I only used 4 screws for each rail - which means EASY INSTALLATION. So happy with this product Holds everything perfectly. This is a good starter set and so versatile. We mounted it in the garage in no time then played around with what we could store on it… a lot! Based on this we bought some additional rails and hooks to deck out the garage and contain all the tools.

Good product but hooks slide too easily horizontally along the bar and since there are no end caps, they can slide off completely. That includes the plastic sleeve. For the steep price of the individual hooks, they should clamp down better to prevent sliding.

This is a nice organization system. Its easy to install, quite heavy duty, and most garage items hang nicely. But like another reviewer has stated, Rubbermaid makes only a limited number of hooks/hangers, and many of them are over-kill for many light uses. That makes this kit worth considering, as it is the only way one can purchase small single hangers! In my case, I already have my system installed and only needed a few individual hooks (not the big double ones), so the kit is more than I wanted/needed. So now I have a leaf blower with a curved handle that really doesnt fit any of the available hangers! That in my opinion is a real limitation, and its the reason Im giving this only three stars. By the way, the long rail I bought at Home Depot has installation holes every inch, which is a nice feature, and quite different from some rails reviewed here.

I have 6 of these unit lining one wall of my garage. A place for everything. Shovels, rakes, ladders, leaf blower, broom and even some jackets. All off the floor. Hooks are easily repositioned to fit your needs.
